We had such a wonderful time experiencing the Winter Wonderland Rooftop Dining Domes at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay. The atmosphere was warm, cosy, and beautifully set up, making it a truly memorable evening. The food was delicious, and the entire experience felt so well thought out. A special thank you to Javier, who looked after us throughout the night. He made our drinks, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. His exceptional service really made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for a unique winter date night or special occasion in Sydney. We’ll definitely be back!

We had our wedding at the InterContinental Double Bay and honestly I could not have imagined a more perfect experience. Everything went above and beyond what we expected. The food was absolutely incredible, so many of our guests commented on how amazing everything tasted. The whole team was so attentive, professional, kind, and genuinely made us feel so well looked after all night. Everyone made us feel honestly royal. Emily was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and made everything feel so smooth and stress free. I’m beyond grateful for all her help, care, and attention to detail. Also a huge thank you to the staff working on the night who made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I am soooo sooooo happy we chose to have our wedding here. Such a beautiful venue with the most incredible team. Truly a night we will never forget. 💗

We visited for the Le Petite Chef Experience and it was incredible. The food was the best meal out as a family we have had, and the staff went above and beyond when they realised our son didn’t eat red meat in the children’s version of the meal, and made him a chicken version of the meal with no warning. We were blown away by the experience, but most of all the service!

We recently stayed at the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning — elegant, peaceful and beautifully maintained — but what truly sets it apart is the extraordinary level of care and service from the staff. A very special thank you to Veronica, who went above and beyond in the most meaningful way. My daughter had just undergone surgery, and Veronica (reception manager) thoughtfully organised roses, a teddy bear, and books to be sent up to our room. It was such a compassionate and personal gesture that meant more to us than words can express. In a moment when comfort and kindness mattered most, she delivered both with genuine warmth and grace. It’s rare to find service that feels so heartfelt and sincere. Veronica’s attention to detail and empathy turned an already lovely stay into something we will always remember. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for making a challenging time so much brighter.

Attended a staff dinner here in December for the Le Petit Chef experience and overall had a lovely evening. The hotel itself is very nice, with beautiful Christmas decorations that added to the atmosphere. The staff were accommodating and service throughout the evening was smooth. That said, the property does feel a little dated in parts, which takes away slightly from what you’d expect at this level. One downside was the lack of valet parking being offered. For a weeknight when the hotel wasn’t particularly busy, it was disappointing to have to find and pay for parking elsewhere. Overall, a pleasant experience in a great location, with a few areas that could be improved to match the premium feel.
