Great spot for a casual gathering, staff are always friendly and helpful, great selection of beers on tap, and wine list looks good too. The snacks are great, in particular the meatballs always go down well. Prices are reasonable for the nice decor and service

I always enjoy myself when I’m here. The atmosphere is visually pleasing its fast paced as it is quite busy in the weekends. Its a great location for a quick catch up or if your organising a group gathering. Love their food selection for both adults and kids. The thought they put in each dish is quite impressive. Their plating style matches their ambiance. Always on point.

Dinner for two before we headed into the city for a show. We reserved a table and it was ready for us at the allotted time and even had a table water with 2 glasses waiting which was a really nice touch. The menu here was amazing. There was so much we wanted to try yet of course could not. This means we will have to return. The food we did order was delicious. So flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The options of ordering at the bar or directly from the table via QR code was nice also. The service was pleasant with all staff being very polite and helpful. The setting of the dining room was beautiful and felt very accommodating to eat in. Highly recommend The Alcott. Special mention to the amazing Arancini - WOW.

We were a party of five. The bar attendant cheerfully took our drink and food orders and had no quibble with separate payment. The table was booth-style, and we could actually converse there quietly without having to shout above ambient noise. The food arrived promptly, everyone's order together, was well presented and reasonably priced. There is also free parking after 6 pm jn the Council car park just opposite. This could become one of our favourite places to dine out.
