Good atmosphere, lovely food and easy to talk to staff. It was quite hot in the gorgeous plant room but it was an extremely hot day and at least they had fans. Highly recommend booking prior as it gets busy and tables are limited. Great daily deals too.

We’ve been hunting for the best Sunday Roast in Sydney across various pubs and RSLs and this is by far the best! Called the “Big Yorkie”, it’s a huge plate with the roast meat of the day (today it was pork with crackling), potatoes, carrots, peas and abundance of gravy. I love that they didn’t go shy on the gravy! $35 is not cheap but the portion is so big and tasted so good it was definitely worth it. We also ordered the roast chicken which was tasty and not dry. The $38 steak was small and perhaps more on the average side. Booking in advance is recommended especially if you don’t want to sit on a stool table.

2/5 for Forrester's, certainly worth a visit but heed our disappointments... ✅ Enjoyed the location, service, decor and vibe. Love the wall art with the Cockatoo and Ibis getting a round of drinks ✅ Good wings and garlic bread ✅ Dog-friendly, loved all the Polaroids on the wall! ✅ Great quiz night host and setup 😐 Live music was really loud, very difficult to have a conversation with friends (but then again, you can always move rooms!) ❌ Disappointing experience with the Yorkie which we were so excited to try. It's so close to Christmas, but they were out of turkey. Nor did they have beef or pork (???) – only ham. We went for it anyway, but the meat quality was average-verging-on-poor. The parsnips were tough and had splintery skin that got stuck in my teeth. The Yorkie's edges were not crispy and fluffy, despite not having touched the gravy. No roast potatoes in there which were mentioned in the menu. We did enjoy the gravy, mash and peas however. ❌ Lack of good (or even many) dessert options

Nice chill spot for Sunday roast. Booked a table for 4. Food was decent but the last time we had Sunday roast in London we were a bit hungover so hard to make an objective comparison. Overall, atmosphere was pleasant and food was good on this day. Would come again to try the other dishes

We came here for a 30th birthday party. The food and drinks were decent and the staff were attentive.
