Verandah Bar is one of the most stunning venues I've had the pleasure of working with, boasting exceptional staff from start to finish. From the moment you're warmly greeted by the wonderful Katie upon arrival, to the attentive floor and bar staff throughout the event, every interaction is seamless and enjoyable. Behind the scenes, the chefs work tirelessly to create the incredible culinary experience that makes it all possible. I have hosted both a corporate function and a birthday party at Verandah Bar and as a testament to Saskia's exceptional skills as a functions manager, I was blown away by her attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to anticipate all my needs. Saskia's communication was faultless, ensuring a stress-free planning process and a seamlessly executed event. I would highly recommend Verandah Bar and Saskia's services to anyone in need of a reliable and exceptional venue and functions manager. They truly go above and beyond to make every event a success.

Verandah Bar is a great little go-to in the city. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly. The bar menu is varied enough that I don’t feel compelled to eat the same thing each time I visit. The only thing stopping this from being a 5-star review was my most recent experience on Friday, 2 August. A colleague and I arrived just after 4pm. The venue was packed and we selected a booth near the entrance where the sound was not too loud. At some point in the next hour, the volume of the music near the entrance went through the roof. It was so loud it was obnoxious. We couldn’t hear each other speaking. We had been planning on eating there and drinking some more but had to leave it was that noisy. The worst part was that the volume of the music in the main part of the bar was great!!! It was just that section near the door. We ended up leaving and continued our drinking and dining elsewhere. Looking forward to the next visit, but I really hope they start paying better attention to the music volume.

A lovely bar in the middle of the Sydney CBD recommended by a good friend. When we contacted The Verandah Bar via email to see when some suitable entertainment was on & to secure a spot for our large group we found Saskia to be very responsive & helpful to cater to all our needs! We got a good laugh & felt right at home when Saskia placed us in the Naughty Corner!! Overall the food, the service, the live music & the overall atmosphere was all top shelf!! Plus all being from the country, once inside you wouldn’t even know you were in the heart of Sydney. Then just by chance Saskia was in the venue & came over to say hello to our group which was lovely of her & wonderful to see the passion she has for this place!! If in the city, I highly recommend The Verandah Bar experience!!

Came here for the Wednesday deal of buy one get one free pizza. So two pizzas for around $28 is a fantastic deal. Pizza was pretty decent
