Convenient location (bus stops to the city centre close by). Shoutout to Aaron at the front desk who was very nice and checked us in smoothly. We were given a room earlier than our check-in time but this depends on availability, good to check before arrival. Room and facilities are clean. Pool is a comfortable enough temperature. We enjoyed using the pool thoughout our stay. Overall, can't complain and this might be out go-to hotel whenever we are in The 'Gong.

Considering we payed a decent amount for 3 nights in an Executive King Room with a balcony with the CBD and beach view you’d get a nice beach view, well consider yourself wrong. I was fairly disappointed to find out the day of check out that the front of hotel with the actual beach views are rented. The rooms are quite small, the fridge was broken, and they aren’t the cleanest of rooms. The day of check in we were placed on the 7th floor, I was quite upset to find that our view was a building with scaffolding and a stadium. While checking the hotel out we came to find dirty cutlery and cups just laying on the corridor floor on our level it wasn’t picked up our whole stay. On night two we had small male worker come knock on the door around 11pm to let us know they are checking floors 7,8,9 cause there’s a aroma of cigarette in the hotel, unsure why as my partner vapes & wasn’t vaping in the room they tried to say they are gonna fine us $250 but let us still stay? I was explaining that we don’t smoke cigarettes, my partner only e-smokes and they smell like berrys so if we were smoking it definitely wouldn’t smell like cigarettes. I’m sure they aren’t money hungry as you pay $25 a night for underground parking, have to pay for each individual clothing item to be washed and there restaurant being pricey. The restaurant food wasn’t bad, but for the price it was, for a cocktail, JD, a BLT meal and a burger it cost $94. The staff were nice I can’t say they were mean or disrespectful at any point. I just wish I booked my second option instead of this one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10 – If I could give more, I would!) My daughter and I stayed at Sage Hotel West Perth completely by accident, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, the reception team went above and beyond for us. We didn’t ask for anything special, yet they treated us with such genuine kindness, care, and thoughtfulness that we truly felt looked after like family. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Aaron and Patrick (and Airing) — you both are absolute stars. Your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. You checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and quietly gave us special treatment that made our stay feel extra special. That level of care is rare and unforgettable. To top it off, the Perth Wildcats were staying at the hotel too! My daughter got to meet them, take photos, and even get autographs. It turned a simple stay into an incredible memory she’ll never forget. Moments like that mean everything to a parent. This hotel isn’t just clean and comfortable — it has heart. And that comes from amazing people like Aaron and Patrick. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and cared for ❤️

Stayed at Sage Hotel on a Sunday night and really enjoyed my stay. 1. Great location – very convenient, close to the beach and the city and nice view for balcony room. 2. Friendly staff – Front Office, breakfast team and housekeeping were all very welcoming. Everyone greeted us with a smile. Special thanks to Aaron for the birthday upgrade to a balcony room with Queen beds and for explaining the gym, pool and all facilities’ opening hours.Molly who checked us out also very pleasant. 3. Nice room amenities – I liked the bathroom amenities (the scent was great), and I was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee machine, a good selection of tea, and in-room refreshments for the price I paid. It would be even better if slippers were provided in the room. 4. Comfortable bed – the mattress was very comfortable, the bed linen was good quality, and the pillows were great (even though I usually bring my own). Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Sage Hotel to my friends.

The room at Sage Hotel was a good size for 2. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were kind, friendly and accomodating. We dined at the restaurant and the food was amazing. Thank you for a great stay.
