We stayed at the Sofitel Wentworth, for our wedding anniversary on the weekend. After being warmly greeted by a few different staff, we had the most lovely experience being served by Jina. Not only was she friendly and accommodating, I believe she arranged an in room surprise for us. It was an unexpected gesture and it truly made our stay at Sofitel Wentworth more memorable. Our buffet breakfast service was also superb. I commend the outstanding service at Sofitel. The classic room and bathroom may be a bit on the smaller side but the service makes up for any limitations. Thank you Sofitel Wentworth! Thank you Jina!

The Sofitel Wentworth was a great choice for a 4 night stay in Sydney while there on a work conference. The rooms and hotel have been recently refurbished and are spacious and luxurious. We stayed in a Prestige Suite, which can be highly recommended. The hotel breakfast was amazing with many options and al a carte as well. Also a special mention to Deepa on the concierge team who helped us change rooms and even showed us the options in person, very helpful. Only down side is that the gym is currently under renovation so needed to use neighboring gyms. Otherwise it was perfect, and would stay again.

I had an awesome stay at the Sofitel in downtown Sydney. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was spotless, modern, and had an amazing view of the city and harbour. The bed was super comfy too, best sleep I had during my trip! Breakfast was excellent with lots of tasty options, and the rooftop infinity pool is just incredible. The view from up there alone is worth the stay. The hotel is also in a perfect location, close to Darling Harbour, great restaurants, and shopping. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with great service and a really relaxing vibe. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Sydney!

This hotel has a colourful history dating way back when even Qantas used to own it. It’s gone through a few renovations and currently it’s looking really beautiful. The foyer is modern and very welcoming and super classy. The club lounge is spacious and it backs onto the new rooftop garden bar area that has been created. Coffee in the lounge was nice! The restaurant for breakfast is also on this level and the breakfast is superb with lots of choices for international tastes. Location is close to Circular Quay and Botanical Gardens.

My first priority in a hotel is cleanliness. This was 10 out of 10. Experience was pleasant with friendly, obliging service. We ordered room service and I was very disappointed to see that the dishes brought up did not have covers on them, meaning that food was exposed to flying dust, hair, people talking over it and maybe coughing and sneezing. I found this appalling and have never seen this before in any of the many hotels I have stayed in around the world, both 3, 4 and 5 -star. I didn't see much difference in the decor (which was dark, gloomy and bland) from a four-star hotel. The disabled room was a joke. We had to reconfigure the beds and furniture so that a wheelchair could actually enter the room. The beds, although luxurious were so high that it was next to impossible to get on and only managed after a five minute struggle. However, the bathroom was large and spacious.
