I believe Kuro had its moment 3 years ago. It was good back then, but in 2025, “the food iwas okay” is probably the most generous comment I can make. However, the ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. The dim lighting paired with the furnishing does create a nice vibe. The servicing was atrocious. There was a 40 minute wait between the last entry and main. The staff on multiple occasions bought over dishes that were not ours not once… not twice… but three times. The kicker on top is of that was staff said there were 2 desserts, for us to finish the first dessert… wait 15 minutes for them to tell us they made a mistake around what menu we ordered. There is an opportunity for Kuro to reinvent itself.

Absolutely outstanding experience. The food and service were exceptional from start to finish. I came here with a client and was amazed I hadn’t heard of it before — a hidden gem! Every course in the degustation was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-quality Japanese dining in a stylish and welcoming space.

My second time coming back for a celebration. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Every dish is phenomenal. The mussel tofu with curry sauce is so good, way out of my expectation. I had a great time here, will definitely come back!

Was here for an event I thought everything was Awesome. Great unique food pairings with delicatable whiskies and japanese bitters. Atomspherr was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive.

This was a very spontaneous and unexpected lunch and let me tell you, it was amazing! The quality of food served here is devine!! Presentation of food is clean, simple, refined and when you actually dig in, flavor explosion. It tastes even better than it looks. Couldn't recommend more. We ordered the mid tier chef's selection lunch menu and it not only didn't disappoint but pleasantly surprised us. Great service, only thing I can say is that I cannot hear anything the waiters say at all due to the nature of the space but that doesn't phase me, just feed my belly!
