We came across this bar and fell absolutely in love with it! It’s Sydney’s best hidden secret that needs to be shared. The food is delicious, the cocktails will take your tastebuds on an adventure and the service was just perfect. Staff are attentive as well as accommodating and nothing is too big an ask. If you’re looking for a date night spot or to hangout with your friends over some drinks, Bar 1880 is where you need to be!

Went here after work and instantly fell in love. Not to be dramatic… but this place has everything. Vintage charm, fun music, delicious food, playful cocktails, and the bartenders were so friendly and know how to make the best cocktails. If you are not sure what to order, ask them - you are guaranteed to get something delicious and amazing! It’s one of those hidden gems you almost don’t want to share… perfect for date night or a catch-up with your bestie. I’ll definitely be back.

Visited twice in the last two years from the states. Harry Morton and team have created an excellent craft cocktail experience in this delightful, charming venue. What a great time my friends and I shared. Climb up the stairs to a romantic, quaint very enjoyable Sydney experience. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

We popped in before dinner at another restaurant. So we did not try the food. This bar is fantastic. Sitting in the original building where the Bulletin Newspaper was printed. It has a fabulous vibe, it’s small but comfortable. The bar staff were prompt and incredibly friendly. We love these old school cocktail bars. This one is a gem.
