Outstanding staff and exceptional service at this hotel! The front desk lady in the red jacket (I regret not asking for her name) was particularly remarkable - she provided warm, attentive, and genuinely caring service throughout our stay. Her bright smile and helpful demeanor made us feel truly welcomed. What impressed me most was that every single staff member we encountered displayed the same level of kindness and professionalism. From the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff, everyone had this wonderful combination of being both highly professional and genuinely warm-hearted. Their natural friendliness and sincere desire to help guests created such a welcoming atmosphere. It's rare to find a hotel where the entire team consistently delivers such excellent service with authentic kindness. This level of genuine hospitality really enhanced our stay and left a lasting positive impression. Special appreciation to the lady in the red jacket - your dedication to guest service is exemplary!

Our stay at the Sydney Shangri-La was nothing short of incredible. The hotel truly offers the best view in town, with breathtaking sights of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We could honestly spend the entire day just relaxing in our room, soaking in the stunning panoramic views. The service was amazing from start to finish. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were greeted warmly by every staff member. The check-in process was seamless, and the team made us feel welcomed right away. A special shout-out to Emily at The Horizon Club—her friendly demeanor and constant big smile made our experience extra special. Whether it was breakfast, evening drinks, or just a casual greeting, she ensured we felt well taken care of. The concierge team was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations and assisting us with all our queries effortlessly. This hotel is a true gem, not just for its location and views but for the outstanding hospitality. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney.

The hotel service and the staff service are excellent. There was an emergency that we left our passports and cards in the safe when we checked out and got the urgent call from the hotel when we arrived at the airport, which is literally 40 min before our boarding time. But the hotel did a marvelous job that they managed to deliver our important items directly to the airport in a safe and timely manner. Right before our boarding time! So we managed to catch our flight on time! I have to say it is a world class service from a famed five-star hotel and I appreciate their professionalism and care for clients so much! Not to mention the room and view are also spectacular and impressive! We booked the premium room and got the beautiful full view of Sydney Opera House and the harbor all day long! Shangri-la Sydney really left us a great experience!

My stay at Shangri-La for my birthday was absolutely unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond by surprising me with a delicious cake and a bottle of wine—such a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast buffet was incredible, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that were definitely worth it. The room was spacious, clean, and had an amazing view that made the experience even more special. Highly recommend for a luxurious and memorable stay! If only there was better parking!

I have visited this hotel three times now. In 2022, it was an outstanding experience, especially the breakfast, which was the best I could imagine. On my second visit in 2023, the breakfast menu had fewer options, and the quality had noticeably declined compared to 2022, though it was still acceptable. However, during my most recent stay yesterday, while the overall service was great, the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had. It was far from what one would expect from a 5-star hotel, more like a 1-2 star experience. The team seemed to be working hard, but I believe there are issues with whoever is managing the menu. I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this hotel.
