We had an excellent stay - the hotel is well located, the staff are helpful, everything was beautifully clean and presented. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The pool and spa was spectacular in its view. We stayed with a 4yr old and found it perfect. The sofa bed was set up on arrival, daily housekeeping, laundry facilities in the room so I could do laundry, beautiful breakfast each morning. 10/10 for us!

This was an amazing hotel for a stay in Sydney! Our room had a phenomenal view of the Opera House and the bridge, and the location gave us quick access to “The Rocks” for dining, and to the Quay for ferry rides and other dining and shopping. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed with all the amenities that we could have asked for.

The internet did not work during the entire 12-day stay, despite many calls to reception. Seems to be an ongoing issue for months, judging by the other reviews. The internet will simply disconnect continuously. They were friendly but could not make it work. They kept claiming that they were calling support for "resets" or "trouble-shooting" but since nothing ever changed, I doubt they really made the calls. The room was incredibly dirty at check-in, particularly the bathtub had not been cleaned. If you stay here, I recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies and deep-cleaning the room. The oven released an awful stench while pre-heating, because it too had not been cleaned in forever. we could not use it, and it took a few days to get the horrific smell out of the room again. the appliance and furnishings are very basic, more 3-star hotel than 5 star. Hotel was inflexible about check-in or check-out times.
King's Pocket
Our family traveled to Sydney and stayed at Quay West. Great apartment with a priceless view. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which was one of the best meals we have ever had. Used the pool with city views to unwind after long days in the city. The Valet parking made things very easy for us once we arrived. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at the Sebel Quay West suites for one week and this hotel was the perfect location we needed for our time in Sydney. Conveniently located in the Rocks close to trains, ferries, trams and buses what it was great for our stepping off points for day trips. The room itself was really nice - a large lounge/dining area with kitchen which we used to cook a few meals and a large separate bedroom. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
