The RSL is beautiful and grand, the service is friendly but the food was a massive disappointment. We were staying at the motel so ate both dinner and breakfast at the RSL. It was Friday night - 6pm, food didn’t arrive until 7pm after we asked for it to be checked on. The place was buzzing and super busy so we expected delays. However, the food arrived and it was definitely not worth the long wait. The schnitty was good not great but the medium rare 300g scotch fillet from the Argentinian grill section was borderline inedible. It was dry as ever, cold, grey and insanely overcooked. The best thing on the plate was the salad. We went for an early breakfast the next morning - 8.30am and thought as the place wasn’t busy we would receive better quality meals. However, the bacon was stone cold, the bread was stale and impossible to cut into and the coffee was just milky. The venue location is beautiful, the staff are nice but the food was overpriced but under delivered.

Came in for dinner with friends and got the brisket with mash and gravy, pad kee mao, wagyu burger, fried chicken burger, schnitzel, scotch fillet and oysters. All dishes were fantastic. The brisket was very tender and the portion was great, mash was perfect and so was the gravy. The burgers were very flavourful and amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the oysters were fresh. The schnitzel was the only disappointing dish. Two friends who ordered it said that the taste was not great borderline questionable and the mushroom sauce was way too watery with no flavour. (I’ll just assume this was a bad schnitty day as everything else was great). Despite going during peak dinner service a couple of the dishes were received very quick and the others probably came out 30 minutes later (it was busy and the online ordering facility did make mention of this). Service was great. Layout of restaurant and premises was very modern. I feel the sports bar could be better designed. Handy QR ordering facility available. Clean well maintained toilets.

Excellent for fine dining or a casual walk in meal. High end redevelopment and quality design makes the Gosford RSL an amazing club to be a member of, or enjoy a family and friends get together. Lots of choices for every taste and special orders catered for. Coffee is excellent and such a wide variety of cakes, savouries and toasties to go with your cuppa. Lovely and friendly staff, with a significant background of military service and history showcased all around the club. Pokies for fun and smokers areas located on all levels for privacy. Large free parking and courtesy bus upon request. Love it here and highly recommended!

new build of the RSL club. quite a big space with strange dead areas. The main dining room is cavernous with very little character or atmosphere. In some areas is also quite noisy especial near the children's play area is. there is potential if they can partly petition areas off. The food we had , 2 burgers (beef and a vegetarian) were very good and didn't take long to arrive. The service from the bar was friendly and very efficient. the stewards on the floor worked constantly cleaning and clearing tables. Go for a quick lunch/dinner for a decent price but don't expect a great vibe.

Wow, just wow! Thoroughly impressed with our experience tonight at the Gosford RSL. Customer service was excellent, the food delicious and the space warm and inviting yet modern and classy. We will definitely be back!
