The pool is pretty clean except for the poop on the sides but it makes sense but the pool filters has multiple dead roaches inside it when I swam down rooms were pretty clean if been here twice but both times there were bugs the first time there were 2 giant millipedes in the bathroom and bed in the middle of the night but they did cause a fright only a disturbance. The beds were clean and comfy and lots of fun games.
A Tric
What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We felt like we had the place to ourselves on the off-peak, weekday upon which our weekend began, and were delightedly surprised to see a large family, accommodated easily by this beautiful, untouched location. Their kids ran free, safe, easily supervised by adults as myself and my partner enjoyed fresh cooked meals at the local cafe and bowling club. A place to be free, but also respectful, and somewhere I look forward to visiting again, very soon.

We regularly stay at retreat at wiseman’s as it’s so affordable and peaceful. We always have a fantastic experience, staff are always incredibly welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, we especially enjoy the oversized pool and enjoy fishing on the banks of the beautiful Hawkesbury river. The location is perfect. We look forward to visiting this hidden gem again soon.

Not a bad place. Some nice views as long as you are up high. No bar, but there's a bowling club and pub over the road. I'd go again

beds were very uncomfortable we paid 165$ for a river view supreme room and they didn’t give us what we paid for there was a big cockroach on my daughters pillow. we had to spray all the bugs including bathroom front door beds and kitchen the amount of insects were unbelievable the customer service was extremely slow there was one person serving/receptionist.i will not be staying there again they are false advertising also the pool had a lot of branches and bugs in the pool come here if u like insects {cockroaches -big cockroaches -flying cockroaches}
