I stayed at the mantra on a work trip, here's a breakdown of my stay: Pros: - Such lovely staff! Very helpful and attentive. - All the spaces were very clean! - Good access to restaurants (very good indian directly behind!) - Excellent shower pressure :0 Room for improvement: - Rooms are definitely a little old (though I appreciate that they maintain them well.) - My room wasn't very well lit, - You need two different key cards for accessing the lifts/carpark and your room. Not the most convenient especially if you're trying to carry a bunch of stuff. ^^ Overall really enjoyed it! And it was well priced compared to nearby locations!

Everything about the actual hotel is good, except some rooms cop full noise from shenanigans and the back packers etc which doesn't stop till 2am or later.... The. 6am conercial construction and Jack hankering taking place Also if u want secure parking it's extra and the swipe to get in and out is very tempermental

The Mantra is dated and needs a bit of a makeover. The rooms are basic. Poor lighting and no USB ports in the room. It is ok for travellers, definitemy not the best for business travellers. No restaurant on site. Better to stay Novotel next door if on business.

Room was dirty and had to be asked tl be cleaned and then moved Incredibly noisy facing back alley way Long periods no one at the front desk No idea on simple things like where to place rubbish Wifi constantly not working Water was disconnected without communication Drilling on roof for hours on end Avoid!!

Good harbour views, comfy clean rooms but hotel has no food or beverage at all and you'll need to either self cater which is possible in many rooms or eat out which is also possible quite close by on Mitchell St. Regular room servicing costs extra too. All acceptable if the accommodation is fairly inexpensive. It's not.
