We recently stayed here and found the resort to be clean and well maintained. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom layout is quite awkward- you wouldn’t want be a large / heavy set person using the toilets here as it is located facing the shower and is not a comfortable space to place yourself in. We ate at the restaurant one night out of our 3 night stay- service began well, the waitress was attentive and friendly making sure all tables were serviced and plates cleared, menus offered etc. For some reason the staff swapped or changed roles and the new waitress who took over service of the outside tables was slow and left plates on tables even through we had finished our meals and ordered desert and coffee. Our deserts came out at different times - roughly 8-10 minutes apart, then the coffee came out once the last desert was eaten. It wasn’t until the coffee was brought out the main meal plates were cleared but the desert plates left on the table ! I’ve never encountered service like this before. When we went to pay the bill, the original waitress was behind the bar and till with no idea just how bad our service had been. There is a well equipped guest laundry - but it is some distance from the reception and the vending machine for washing powder is out of order, so it’s quite a walk to go get some or get change for the washers and dryers. We only stayed here as a friend worked here several years ago whist travelling and she raved about how wonderful the resort was. The location is slightly out of the way, but you do have the stunning beach close by, the rooms could be very noisy with the guests and residents above dragging furniture around from around 5:30am most mornings and the room next door had the tv blaring until quite late. While we did enjoy our stay, I’m not sure we will be back again in the future.

Best place for drinks, chilling, Latin events and a very welcoming atmosphere always. Can’t wait to go back there again. Also they have Ana amazing venue for events which we use every time and it’s so so good.

Had dinner there. Very nice pizza i recommend it but have a beer before you go they $9.00 for 330 mls of Great Northern that's just not fair. Food good. Drinks not good.

Absolutely disappointed with this stay. Had high hopes given the illusion of being a tropical resort on a quiet part of town as per the website. Instead, had a number of issues starting with the lack of information provided at reception around access to the top floor where my room was located. There are only stairs no elevator. Followed by getting to my room only to have another guest attempt to open my door. Thinking it was room service I opened the door to be faced with a Gentlemen who smelled like a bottle shop and who advised that he too had been given the same room number as me. I was excited about the restaurant on site but as I was travelling alone decided to get it as room service. I ordered a pizza and a bottle of coke at 7pm and was told it would be 25 minutes for my pizza. At 745pm I still hadn't got it so I called back and was quickly told her colleague was bringing it to me. 820pm I called back as still nothing had come to be told they'd look into it. 845pm my call is returned and I'm told they're really sorry and it'll be there shortly. My pizza arrives at 9pm and the staff who deliver it tell me that they've given me a 10% discount on my order and charge me $23. The pizza was inedible and still remained in my fridge at check out. I ordered ubereats for all other meals. I constantly felt unsafe starting here. As a solo female traveller, it was actually a bit daunting. The cheap rooms with "garden views" actually back onto the main road (Lee Point Road) and there are sliding doors with no security that back onto a large shared verandah that spans the entire length of all units on the top floor. There are cheap table and chairs outside most units but mine had empty beer cans on it constantly from the guests in the next room. I never went out onto the balcony nor did I leave the door open as at random times during the night you could see guests out there being loud, smoking etc. The light on the verandah stayed on 24/7 and even though the sliding door had curtains it still could be seen. The front of the rooms also has a shared balcony that spans the entire length, the only positive is the doors to the rooms were swipe card access. Again I never used this balcony either. At all hours including late at night you could people arguing, from men shooting at each other saying they'll smash each other, to people calling each other names. I heard two guys almost get into a fight directly outside the door. This happened constantly. I didn't see anyone walking up and down the main road, no families running around and it just gave the vibe that it would have been fabulous maybe 20 years ago but is just not worth it right now. If you're a family thinking this a great place to stay or someone travelling for business I would steer clear. It's a good 15 minutes drive from town and in hindsight it would have been better to pay the extra fees per night in town then make the hike to stay somewhere I felt unsafe.

We had a very comfortable stay here in May in the apartments. The rooms and beds are good with regular room service, and it's right next to a beautiful bushwalk and beach. The staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is pretty chlorinated but made for a great swim and the grounds are nicely maintained. My only real beef was that they do not have recycling bins anywhere which is a real shame.. also, a bit more kitchen equipment (strainer and more cutlery and crockery) would be a great addition.
