Positives: Buffet Breakfast was beautiful and room was extremely clean. Negatives: Got woken up at 3:00am by a false fire alarm, couldn’t get a good nights sleep for our whole stay due to a raging club next door, TV didn’t work even though the website advertises it’s a “smart TV”, king bed was really just two beds pushed together. Overall it’s a nice hotel but not really worth the $620 that we paid for two nights.

I stayed at the Rydges for my birthday. The hotel manager upgraded my room from a single room to a two bedroom apartment. The hotel manager went out of his way to ensure we felt comfortable and had a great time. The hotel is immaculate and customer service is second to none. Highly recommended.

Stayed a week in one room self contained apartment - best blackout curtains! Fantastic breakfast choices. Cannot fault anything clean and tidy. Came for sons wedding - held in Cellar Room. Food and service were superb. Cocktails by the pool, delicious. Easy to get around close to everything we wanted to see and do 20 mins to City, Cullen Bay, Mindl Beach, walking distance to shopping centres. Will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here for 6 nights in King executive with balcony room over looking the pool and a view out over the area. Bathroom is tiny but still ok as shower was big. Beautiful pool and nice outdoor area. We ate outside which was nice and casual. Meals were very nice and quite big. There is an easy walk to a shopping centre opposite the hotel. There is also an undercover big secure carpark and a good size gym. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

The staff always greet with a smile and nothing seems like too much trouble. The rooms are generous in size with king size beds and all the creature comforts. The restaurant has a real Australiana feel with cocodile, barramundi and kangaroo on the menu. The pool and gym areas are also well worth a mention and help make this place an award winning Hotel.
