My partner and I came to dine the night after our wedding for dinner and were very excited. Blackbird did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and polite. We ordered the 10th anniversary whiskey flight, which was delightful; the flight really matched the vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious and faultless and at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend and look forward to the next time I might be back.

Rare chance for my wife and I have kids free day. We pick Black Bird and Grill for dinner tonight. The service was great and setup was nice. We had Cauliflower a few ways and hand stretched Burrata as our starter. I love the Burrata with caper and raisin which complement nicely. We had Wood grilled pork cutlet and Yardstick British Bred as our mains and steam broccolini as our side. Our medium rare rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. And we end the night with Coconut rum lamington as our shared dessert. Not the traditional lamington we expected. The coconut is placed in the middle with complementary of the black sesame ice cream. Loved it.

Came into this with high expectations - good ratings, prime location and well-minted website preceded its reputation. Food was indeed delicious and flavourful. Presentation was not the focus. Staff were courteous and the ambience was cosy and muted, with views of the Brisbane river and nightscape twinkling through the windows.

Absolutely lovely venue, the customer service was fantastic and they even noted my birthday for a little free dessert. Things like that really make an experience great. We had a steak and the pork cutlet, could not fault the food in any way. Might be the best dinner out l’ve ever had. The Sun Baker cocktail was beautiful and delicious and the ambiance was terrific. 5/5

serves some of the best steaks in the area. everything was so well executed. the shared steak platter had a perfect char and the added coleslaw was unique, it had earthy overtone that reminded me of wasabi or something. no clue it was probably the best coleslaw ive had though. the tuna in the seafood platter was melt in your mouth, and it was well balanced taste wise. the potato side was recommended, it did not disappoint brimming with parmesan. i think service overall could be improved on and desserts were a little lackluster compared to the eats prior.
