Reviews for Brisbane City Hall

Excellent free thing to do in Brisbane. If you haven’t checked out Brisbane city hall, put it on your list for next time you’re in town and have an hour to kill. The building/ architecture is fantastic, they don’t make them like this anymore, very awesome auditorium, make sure you check it out. The museum /gallery has different exhibitions going on all the time and the guided ride up the old cage elevator and views from the top are a great thing to do and amazingly it’s all free.

Brisbane City Hall is a historic landmark that's a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. Its stunning architecture and rich history make it a fascinating place to explore. From the grandeur of the main hall to the intricacies of the clock tower, there's so much to see and learn about here. Definitely worth a visit.

Worth seeing. Its free to enter and roam around and learn more about Brisbane by exploring the city hall. Level 3, there is a musuem. You can go to go up to see the clock tower also for free but you have to ask at the counter and book a slot, or you can do it online. I encourage people to explore every floor besides the musuem as well. If you love learning about culture and history I would recommend coming here.

Our ship docked quite a distance from the cruise terminal to the town centre, so we hopped on a shuttle bus to reach the main core of the city for our one-day stop. Opting to explore Brisbane City Hall, built between 1920 and 1930, has been a fascinating choice. This heritage-listed gem in the heart of Brisbane boasts marble staircases, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and a mosaic-tiled floor. After a $215 million restoration, it's a perfect place to delve into Brisbane's history, with guided tours showcasing the Main Auditorium, Father Henry Willis Organ, and the iconic Clock Tower.
