Hotel rooms are well maintained, foyer is a bit drab though. Rooms with river view are nice, there can be some road noise as there is a main road out front but not to bad, you can walk into town or along the river to the river cat ( high speed ferry) 10 minutes approximately. Roma station is in close/easy walking distance. Ferry rides are very nice in the evenings as the city is well lit up and you go under the story bridge

Lovely views, that's about it. After booking, we were notified that the pool and BBQ area were being upgraded. It would have been nice to have had that knowledge before. Not that hard to find and easy to get around. However, parking is more than just limited it is tight. Only 2 levels of parking with many spots being reserved. There appears to be one path that is only just wider than a car, so not looking forward to meeting a car coming in as I try to leave. No mention of paid parking until after we have checked in and it is on the paperwork for $32 a night. The quality of the rooms were sub standard. Broken handle on a bathroom draw, cobwebs above the shower, dirty tiles in back corner of shower, very dirty and possibly mouldy vents on each air-conditioner, bedside table draw slides out by itself which I have hit my knee on getting up during the night, inside glass door on stove had splatter marks, room safe in the closet has no batteries making it just an open box, laminate peeled off kitchen cupboard doors. No, we will not be staying here again.

The room I was placed in was dirty and run down, and the air-conditioning was stuck on full blast, which was impacting my asthma and confined me to the bedroom. I asked if I could be moved to another room, and they told me they were fully booked, yet looking on their website, they still had rooms listed as available. When I called my third party booking service and asked them to move me hotels suddenly a room was available it was the same type, just that it had been refurbished and the heater worked, so I was able to use the whole apartment. Really don't like being lied too. I won't be staying there again

I stayed here on the night Kraftwerk played in Brisbane due to the short distance from the venue. At check in, I was asked to pay a $100 security deposit. This always baffles me because if I was to damage the room, $100 wouldn't begin to cover the cost of repairs. I stay in Brisbane multiple times through the year and, for some reason, Brisbane hotels and apartments love charging these deposits that always take close to two full weeks to return. The venues can manually release the funds the next day if they choose so. I know this because I work in the industry. I digress. So? What of the rooms? They are a little out-dated but great value for money consideing the location. I really enjoyed my room. It was quiet and high up but, more importantly, very clean. The kitchen was a little old and warn. It could do with an upgrade but, it covered my needs for the niggt and breakfast the following morning. Both the fridge and freezer were nice and cold. I managed to cook bacon, eggs and beans with toast for breakfast with minimal fuss. Sometimes, the hotplates are useless but in this venue, they worked a treat. The TV offered a good selection of viewing, the bedroom was very comfortable with lots of space as was the bathroom. The shower offered great water pressure and the towels were nice a fluffy. Sadly, the air-conditioning was still stuck in the early 90s. A massive cumbersome unit that made almost no impact. It would be a struggle on a hot day to keep the place cool I suspect. Would I stay here again? Most definitely! As I mentioned earlier, I found the room to be great value for money despite the few areas needing an upgrade. If you are chilled and relaxed about your accommodation, this is the perfect venue for a stay. For the precious Barbie doll types out there, I'm not sure you would totally enjoy your stay. The staff were friendly in parts but a,touch difficult in other ways. The chap who checked me in upon arrival seemed unhappy with his job.

Hotel desperately needs a renovation. The air conditioning units are so old, that even when the dial was set at 5 degrees the room was still over 30. Grubby carpets, and not safe for kids with windows that open full width, in a high rise apartment. Good location and the lady on reception was nice, thank you.
