Excellent free thing to do in Brisbane. If you haven’t checked out Brisbane city hall, put it on your list for next time you’re in town and have an hour to kill. The building/ architecture is fantastic, they don’t make them like this anymore, very awesome auditorium, make sure you check it out. The museum /gallery has different exhibitions going on all the time and the guided ride up the old cage elevator and views from the top are a great thing to do and amazingly it’s all free.

Australian citizenship ceremony here, was great occassion good army band and choir performance, lots of people and family members in attendance. Hall was very nice and atmospheric.

Worth seeing. Its free to enter and roam around and learn more about Brisbane by exploring the city hall. Level 3, there is a musuem. You can go to go up to see the clock tower also for free but you have to ask at the counter and book a slot, or you can do it online. I encourage people to explore every floor besides the musuem as well. If you love learning about culture and history I would recommend coming here.
