Reviews for Brisbane City Hall

Make the time to visit Brisbane City Hall. Even if you are not a history buff this place is still very much a must see. Free to travel up to the clock tower, the Museum is wonderful but the architecture of this building leaves one aghast - It’s Beautiful! Floors hand laid, marble stair cases, the auditorium is viewable and the huge organ stands out as the main attraction!

This building is a must to visit. I did a tour a few years back and the history is amazing. The architecture inside and outside is beautiful. Have attended a few functions as well. Gorgeous venue

What a beautiful iconic building which really represents Brisbane. Two absolutely stunning marble staircases one on each side of the building as you enter taking you up to balcony seating for events happening on the stage. I have been attending the free concerts on a Tuesday at 12midday and finding them so enjoyable. They are very well attended and the acoustics in this venue are really good. The facilities are lovely and clean and well looked after. I have on occasion gone up to the clock tower and that is so interesting. There are sometimes different displays in the foyer as you enter. The Brisbane City Hall is a must see if you are visiting Brisbane. Something that has always been in my life and will be around for many many years after I am gone.

Excellent free thing to do in Brisbane. If you haven’t checked out Brisbane city hall, put it on your list for next time you’re in town and have an hour to kill. The building/ architecture is fantastic, they don’t make them like this anymore, very awesome auditorium, make sure you check it out. The museum /gallery has different exhibitions going on all the time and the guided ride up the old cage elevator and views from the top are a great thing to do and amazingly it’s all free.
