Stayed here thanks to Virgin, due to a cancelled connecting flight. The lobby is gorgeous and premium. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room didn't live up to the lobby look and feel and seemed dated design wise.....very brown. The lighting was odd and difficult to figure out. Bed was comfy and amenities all there. Room service was quick, but not memorable taste wise. Overall a good place to be put up for a night.

We dined in for a high tea on a Sunday at a hotel that initially appeared very sophisticated, with a pleasant aroma upon entering. We were warmly greeted by the hotel receptionist, who was very friendly and helpful:) Upon arriving at the high tea venue, we encountered two staff members who, unfortunately, did not greet us with a smile or show any enthusiasm, which was a bit disappointing. We had called twice in advance to clarify a specific dietary requirement for one of our party members, but it was still not correctly noted. However, the staff apologized and had the kitchen prepare a suitable alternative in about five minutes, which was impressively quick. When I requested sparkling water, I was served tap water instead, which raised further concerns about communication issues at the hotel. The sparkling wine did not meet our expectations, but the food was exceptional and visually appealing. The sandwiches were particularly good, and the fruits were very fresh. Overall, while the service and staff attitude did not fully align with the standards expected of a five-star hotel, the quality of the food, the location, and the overall atmosphere were commendable:)

Lovely staff at every point of our stay, from the moment we arrived with the concierge to the reception staff on check out. Incredibly well situated, a short walk to shops, restaurants or take a train directly. Comfortable room, great selection on the breakfast buffet with decent coffee, lovely restaurant with great food and an exceptional waiter at dinner.

Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Lovely pool area and pool. Excellent breakfast selection. The room was a nice layout with bath/shower combined. Central station was quick and easy to get to for easy travel to any suburb, airport and other parts of the city. Definitely a great place to stay.
