This is a lovely place. The first time we stayed, our room big but had a river view. The second time, our room looked out over the parking lot but was huge. Full size kitchen and a huge shower etc. It was wonderful. However the pool is not heated and was too cold to use.

Good location, awesome views and good facilities. Restaurant was slow but great coffee and food. Didn’t charge back to the hotel which was strange. Helpful and friendly staff. Very tight parking-small car only. I’d definitely stay again.

I just stayed one night in a 1 bedroom apartment on the 17th floor. I was nervous reading the other reviews but my room was clean and pretty modern with a nice view towards roma street. The staff working there seemed really nice, the lady in the restaurant in the morning for breakfast was very polite and friendly, the woman who checked me in was very courteous. As I was checking in, a frustrated and rather rude american guest came down in a rather confrontational manner and demanded why her coffee cups hadn't been cleaned, I was really impressed how professional and friendly the receptionist dealt with this woman, as I had to really try hard to manage my frustration at how confrontational this guest was being to the receptionist. Apart from that, an otherwise pleasant experience and would recommend.

Oh dear. I really wanted to give this place a higher score but the room just smelled so weird. We debated whether we could put up with it as we were only staying for one night but decided we couldn't and contacted Reception to request a change of rooms. The guy on Reception who came to investigate was lovely and could smell a strange odour too. He called Nell, who also came, said the same thing and suggested we could try and find somewhere else for the night or put up with it and they'd organise a partial refund. We went for the latter as we were tired having just got off a flight. An air-freshener helped a little. We then went out for dinner and had a pretty okay sleep when we got back. Breakfast was good though and the shower was powerful. Apart from the smell and clumsy room layout, I cannot fault the service we received from Nell and the young man on Reception. Thanks for your time trying to sort it out for us.

Arrived late evening. Room newly renovated and looks great but a number of issues emerged. Room was clean, but a used towel hanging in wardrobe. No toiletries available in room and needed to go to reception as there was not a phone in room. Glass door on the fridge meant that light was visible all night. The kettle doesn't fit under the tap. There was a lot of noise from the road despite being on a high floor. The bed was huge and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing. The rainfall shower was great. The gym is adequate, but the pool is closed for renovation. The aircon is very cold, but can be adjusted or turned off.
