There are a few steps involved in booking an event at The Wickham and the VenueNow team are here to do the heavy lifting for you. Firstly, contact the VenueNow team by submitting an enquiry or speaking to one of our team members online or over the phone. We'll need to collect a few details from you, such as your: - Event type - Number of people attending - Preferred event date & time (and if this is flexible) - Budget (per person or total) - Room layout - Food and beverage / catering requirements - Any other requirements Once we've gathered these details, the VenueNow team will contact the team at The Wickham to check: 1) Can they host the event on your preferred date / time? If not, what are some alternate dates / times? 2) What is the estimated cost based on your event requirements? This process tends to take around 1 business day on average to receive a response from the venue. Once we've received a response, the VenueNow team will contact you as soon as possible. If you're happy with the proposed price and dates / times, the VenueNow team will connect you with The Wickham to finalise your booking (which may include a site visit if you choose to do so). Went to the Pub Quiz on Wednesday- it was packed! It’s quite loud so you can’t always hear the presenter but they have screens with the questions on so it doesn’t really matter. Happy hour from 5-7 I believe. Only had the fries but they were good.

Such a welcoming and safe space with great vibes every time I visit. The staff are always lovely—shout out to Tracey, Keanu, Alex, and Elyshia for being absolute gems. It’s so important to have venues like this in the community. Can’t recommend it enough!

Only been the once and the service was pretty average from the bar.  The food service was fine though.

The beer garden looked good and the general feel is quite good.

Open to all and everyone but obviously has a speciality customer base but in no way did this vibe make anyone uncomfortable.

And yes, in this era I was trying to make the point without offending anyone!

If you want a fun (+ most importantly, SAFE) night out, the Wickham is the place to go! I had the most delicious pizza there, the staff are super efficient, super friendly and so helpful!! It is the first and ONLY bar that I have gone into where I feel safe and even the security at the door were so lovely! Can’t wait for my next outing!

Welcome to the Peacock Room – dedicated to The Wickham’s iconic peacock, Frankie. This space is filled with lush furnishings, local artists works and an amazing lycra wall feature.
This is the perfect space for everything from boujie cocktail parties and cheeky hens and bucks celebrations to corporate lunches and events.

Brisbane Proudest pub houses one of Brisbane’s  best beer gardens. Flanked by two epic murals by local artist Banjo Bonfire and world renowned street artist Kaffeine, and complete with a built in, weather proofed stage, this breezey space is perfect larger scale events and celebrations. The space is mainly cocktail style with access to 2 TVs, AV, microphone and stage.
