We had a lovely stay at the hotel, especially considering the stressful circumstances we were dealing with during our travel disruption. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, but a special thank you to Shadelle who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help us and made a difficult situation so much easier with her kindness and professionalism. We’re really grateful for her support and it truly made our stay a much better experience. A credit to rydges!

I honestly cannot fault this hotel. I was staying theee as an exhibitor for an event across the road at the ICC… I needed equipment sent to the hotel prior to my arrival.. no problem. I needed some tools … here you go. The staff were incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The room was very clean and the minibar a bonus when so many don’t have it anymore. I felt comfortable and relaxed. I would hands down say this is one of the best hotels in Brisbane. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here because our flight got cancelled due to Middle East conflict on Feb 28th. Shadelle was AMAZING, such a friendly person in a crisis and knew we were so worried and she did everything to help us. Also Nick on the second day again treated us with respect & kindness. We will never forget them especially Shandelle for their kindness. Also the food was excellent.

Luis, my date blossomed into a relationship because of you! Nicki, thankyouthankyouthankyou for organising the linen to be replaced for our two night stay! We really appreciate you! Alisha was a darling who helped us organise our two night stay through booking.com, we appreciate your effort. We really do. Overall, Rydges was an amazing experience we both won't forget and we'll certainly be back. If there is any senior management gazing upon my review, please know these three staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable experience we'll always treasure. We went to a comedy dinner show at Rydges Fortitude Valley and the show was great. But everyone complained about the standard of the food. The first course was a cold pumpkin soup, tasted ok but everyone’s was cold. Main was barely warm chicken breast with no flavour with broccoli and potatoes which were so bland. There was no flavour to the main meal, everyone was commenting on how below average the food was. Desert was a pavlova and that was nice. I would recommend that you don’t have an event here as everyone will be disappointed with the food. The hotel needs to re look at how they do food for events. I hope they make an effort to get better.
