Enter the foyer to reception and you'll be engulfed with a gorgeous misty sweet scent of freshness that instantly lifts the spirits. Ibis has really good prices, clean comfortable rooms and awesome service. The eleven am check out time is great for a calm breakfast and lazy check out. Breakfast variety is fantastic, highly recommend taking advantage of this, prices are very reasonable. There are 3 parking buildings nearby, Secure, Wilson, and Uptown. Ibis location is excellent and close to everything really, from food to entertainment to public transport.Highly recommend.

great location. just one other feedback - housekeeping was missed on Sunday when I was there and only 1 bin in the room (bathroom) - too small, I had to ask twice for an extra bin and only on the 2nd request was I told it was not available. Anyway, on Sunday evening when I returned I asked for bin bags with clean towels and more coffee - these were provided. the wifi was spotty in the room and kept dropping in my room when i accessed from my ipad

I was really impressed. Having stayed at several European Ibis hotels, I wasn't expecting much, although this hotel really changed that experience. The staff were lovely and welcoming, check-in was simple, and the view from the room was more than I had expected (even though that was what I booked). The buffet breakfast didn't fail to impress either; the food was of good quality and prepared to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it.

Staff were busy as we checked in just before 3.00pm, but they handled the pressure so very well - polite, thorough and with a smile. We were upgraded to a wonderful corner room facing the river, which had an amazing view both night and day. The hotel is excellently located on Elizabeth Street, convenient to public transport (bus, ferry, uber, taxi), next to to a large shopping mall. All staff were lovely, helpful and friendly from reception, restaurant and housekeeping - thank you, this made our stay. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again (we are platinum level). The restaurant is fairly basic food, but there are many other choices within a few minutes walk. Thank you.

Room was clean but a bit small. Very nice bathroom - good shower and good quality shower gel etc. Nice design touches and comfortable bed. Disappointing lack of any USB charging points either in the room or the bar. Breakfast was perfectly ok but the bar area is a bit tired and soulless. The reception staff were very good; welcoming, helpful and polite. The carpet is the reception area is very grubby though
