We went to the winter long table event and it was an amazing experience. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had in Queensland, the service was fabulous and the pairing of wines Amazing. Overall the experience was outstanding.

We came for lunch for my elderly mother’s birthday and had a lovely time. The food was pretty standard pub fare, but it was decent quality and enjoyable. Murray was our server and he went out of his way to make sure everyone was accommodated, and that my mum felt special for her birthday, and this elevated the whole experience. We had a great time.

Tonight we celebrated my birthday at the Tavern and it was really lovely. The food was pretty good but the service and the effort that went in to creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere was next to none. Great service! I would eat here more often if they had more plant based options. Having vegan cheese or a plant based schnitzel or pasta (like other pubs). This would make a great difference. I also think staff could have better knowledge of the menu. I feel like every time I would visit, answers were different and not consistent. communicating dietary restrictions without coming across as rude or needy was difficult.
