Loved out trip from beginning to end. Ferry service was great and fast at loading and unload both luggage and passengers. Check was and easy fast process. Rooms great and resort facilities even better. So much to do or relax and do nothing. We'll be back

I was apprehensive after reading some bad reviews but feeding the dolphins was a bucket list item for me. We did the day trip which included glass bottom boat road and dolphin feeding with included meal vouchers. Right from the start when we arrived at the terminal the service was fantastic. I was greeted by very friendly boat crew who gave us priority boarding as we had a pram. Further more to this they had no issue with me bringing my cool cabana as carry on even though it was over sized. Service on board was exceptional and the boat crew even gave my children some yummy biscuits every time we went to the bar. I recommend sitting upstairs if you can as the view is better and very comfortable lounges. You are able to move around the boat as you please to get better views. As we left the terminal on the catamaran it was announced there would also be an additional 2500 people on the island because of a cruise ship and a huge storm predicted, this sent me into an unnecessary panic about space and ability to get food or complete planned activities. But because we had pre booked tours there were no issues there and no over crowding, plenty of space to set up for the day on the beach with our cool cabana and food and beverage service was very efficient. We were able to get ample meals with the food vouchers and food and beverages prices were surprisingly reasonable and good quality. The beach is beautiful, the resort itself is very well maintained and easy to navigate and all staff were friendly and helpful. Highlights were the beautiful beach and warm water, awesome band they had on for the day (Geed UP Band #Worst Show Ever) and watching an incredible lightening storm as we ate our dinner. The storm cleared and we were still able to go ahead with the dolphin feeding. Only negative is that time spent in the water with the dolphin wasn’t long but this is understandable as they are wild dolphins. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and next time we will actually spend a few days staying on the island to do more activities.

Booked a day trip with them, with complimentary ferry transfers, Guided snorkelling among shipwrecks, helicopter tour and watching feeding of Dolphins. Everything was excellent and it was an amazing experience. We had access to a day lounge and that was fantastic as well. Free drinks and refreshments as well as sufficient shower and toilet, locker facilities. 30 aud food voucher provided too.

Fabulous location so close to Brisbane but feels half a world away. Deluxe hotel rooms have amazing views and are small but comfortable. Be aware food on the Island is expensive. Quite a few free activities that are well worth doing. Eco rangers are great.

Luckily, Moreton Island is a GORGEOUS place to visit - because Tangalooma Island Resort is quite an over-priced place to stay, and frankly, over-rated. We rented a holiday house through the resort, and were shocked to see how far away from the resort ammenities (such as the reception desk and restaurants) were from the house - not to mention how uncomfortable the beds were! We had to walk up and down many flights of stairs from the main resort complex, and unfortunately a golf-cart was not included in our stay (and there were absolutely none available to rent, at an extra cost I might add) - but it was needed! So we didn’t get to enjoy anything else the resort had to offer - although our family members who stayed in the apartments told us that the food available was not entirely nice. We also were not able to do the dolphin feeding at all, due to stormy weather, and were unable to contact reception multiple times during our stay to make and confirm our booking. The resort also prioritises tour bookings from passing cruise-ships over resort guests - limiting the activities guests may (or may not) be able to enjoy while visiting the island. Unfortunately, resort facilities are only available to guests. Despite the limited selection of shops for those visiting the Island, and despite the distance between hot-spots like ‘The Wrecks’ and publicly available shops (like Castaways - approximately 20-40minutes drive from Tangalooma). So if you’re thinking you’ll just purchase lunch after going snorkelling, or simply if you’re just waiting for the barge - think again! We were much more comfortable in our camper-trailer!
