Great central location. Service from reception staff was excellent. Valet parking is handy (it cost $40) — just be aware when checking in, there’s only a few short term parking spots available at the front, so if they are taken u may need to loop around a few times. The one bedroom apartment has ample space and good facilities.

Just checked in. My booking clearly says KING bed. They checked me in a Queen bed so I called the Reception. The abrupt Staff told me that one bed unit only comes with either King or Queen and that they do not guarantee King bed. So I said again that my booking confirmation says KING bed. She then said they can move us to King and asked if we have touched any amenities yet. I told her we just walked in, which surprised me that she doesn't know given that we just came from the Reception. She said, and I quote ' okay, well find you a new room (abruptly), see you at the Reception and hang up. So I went down at the Reception, and inquired who I spoke to. The nicer Staff said, her colleague is not there. There were only 3 of then in the Reception. And she said she didn't know who I spoke to when I asked to speak to the Manager. She said that I can email my concern to them. And I said no, > want to speak to the Manager. So I'm waiting....anyway, in regards to the room, yes they smell of mould and it is gloomy. I don't know why I didn't check the reviews before I booked. I got excited with the location as it is very close to QPAC, but that is the only advantage. I will not book Mantra ever again. This is also one of the reasons why I will never ever renew my Accor membership again.

Rooms were large although external windows needed cleaning so you could see the view beyond them. Great proximity to South Bank, couldn’t have been closer. Staff at concierge helpful. Only disappointment is that the room was never cleaned or refreshed in our 3 night stay so we also had to keep asking for fresh dry towels.

I love Mantra at Southbank, a little personal stay & work Xmas Party Loved the Iced Teas available in reception. Perfect place, room was lovely, bed was comfy and something important to me, the pillows were great. Cleaned room (even though it didn’t need it) Amenities stocked, microwave & good size fridge was is a must for a family or couple. Great pool, lovely lounge chairs to relax Valet parking on arrival, Luggage collection from my room and taken to my care on departure. Yummy pizza from the restaurant. Kirsten & the team were lovely Highly recommend ☺️

Really enjoyed our stay at mantra southbank with our family. Check in sat afternoon was smooth, easy, efficient and friendly. The guy at front desk was awesome. Valet parking service was so good. Would stay here again. Thank you for the comp bottle of wine for my birthday! Would stay here again.
