Had a trade stand for a Capricorn Trade Expo, set up in Terrace 1. Great car parking available close the arena. Set up was good and convenient. The event was well catered for. Not sure if this was through the Showgrounds or another catering company. Instead of meager sliders, we were offered decent sized meals on a tray like fish and chips or nachos etc. Good clean toilets just outside the Terrace.

I loved going to the ekka for the first time with my friends! I enjoyed all the rides and the food was delicious. 🤤 Despite getting soaked at the end, I loved watching the fireworks. 🎆

The EKKA Festival is the biggest annual event in Brisbane, and I absolutely can't wait to experience it again in the future! It truly exceeded my expectations with its stunning blend of traditional Australian culture, vibrant shows, and an electric atmosphere. From the colorful performances to the exciting exhibits, everything about EKKA felt magical. And the grand finale fireworks? Absolutely breathtaking! 🎆✨ It was the perfect way to end an already incredible event. I’m already looking forward to seeing it all again! EKKA is a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Brisbane’s culture and celebrations.

I've been to the showgrounds countless times for all sorts of concerts and festivals, like laneway and wildlands. Most recently, I went there for Knotfest. It was organised soooo well!!!! There were no issues with excessive waiting times, or anything the like. The best thing was that, instead of having several stages spread around the grounds, they split the main stage in the amphitheatre into 2. So when one artist was finished on one stage, the next artist would start on the other stage pretty much seamlessly, and the next artist would be set up whilst the other was playing. It just made so much sense and the whole experience super easy!
