Clean rooms, comfortable layout of the whole complex and great facility. Good prices, friendly staff. Mini golf course is awesome. Water park is great, deeper water great for playing in and laying in with little kids, big long slides hard for adults but great for kids. A lot of seats and shady areas around the facilities Little painted surprises in the gardens to look out for. Easy to push a pram around the whole complex

Just across the Rd from Woolworths which is very handy but the raving of the kids area is less to be desired. We were called 4 nights before our stay to say the water park wasn't operating (this should never ever happen at a family resort on a weekend) but told still so much for the kids to do.... Mini put needs to be upgraded, climbing area is for big kids only and the tramp was good but that's really it if the water park is closed It's also heavily overdue for a revamp the rooms are nice but very tired and only 5 tv channels to choose from. Would consider other options before here for our next family holiday (also make sure you get a room away from the lifts as it's incredibly noisy)

Great location, receptionist was super friendly. Pool was relaxing. However, I did book a balcony, we were on the ground floor. We were on a tight schedule the day of arrival so I didn’t want to bring it up. So myself and my partner pushed for time. We were given a room that was near to what we booked so we could get ready. So really my fault for not saying anything.

Wonderful place to stay. Kids were sad to go home. Rooms are clean and comfortable. One downside was you have to walk through the water park to get to the playground/mini golf course. This is annoying if you’ve already gotten dry and changed. Also park/mini golf closes a 5pm leaving nothing to do in the resort after 5pm other than swim in the main pool. Which sometimes isn’t suitable for all kids ages. Please unlock one of the other gates to the playground and have it opened until nightfall especially in summer when dark isn’t until after 7pm. Restaurant food was good. Some items being a bit pricy but overall good food. Would love to see some more items added to the menu to cater for longer stays. Gets a bit boring eating the same stuff constantly. Will definitely return again and hopefully see some reflected changes. Thank you !

Overall I was very impressed with the oaks. Great for kids and perfect location. Close to local shops, beach's and restaurants. Unfortunately there was 20% surcharge for Australia day, bringing kids pizzas up to $30 and they were ting. Breakfast was ok but dinner was really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place for families.
