Our family recently had the pleasure of spending five wonderful nights at the Sofitel hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and we were delighted to find that our room was not only spacious but also beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the city skyline. The comfortable beds and luxurious amenities ensured that we all enjoyed restful nights after our busy days exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel’s dining options. Each morning, we indulged in a delicious breakfast buffet featuring a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties that catered to everyone's tastes. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our family’s needs, making breakfast a delightful start to each day. During our stay, we took advantage of the hotel’s fantastic facilities, including the pool and spa. The kids had a blast splashing around in the pool, while my partner and I enjoyed some much-needed relaxation time at the spa. The treatments were rejuvenating, and the serene atmosphere provided the perfect escape. The location of the Sofitel was also a huge plus, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions and enjoy family outings. The concierge was incredibly helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local activities and dining options. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, from little touches like personalized welcome notes to thoughtful suggestions for family-friendly activities. As our trip came to an end, we all agreed that our stay at the Sofitel was one of the best family vacations we’ve had. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next visit. I stayed at Sofitel Gold Coast for 3 days and 2 nights while preparing for and recovering from the Gold Coast Marathon, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. What stood out the most was the genuine kindness and attentiveness of every single staff member, which made my stay very comfortable and welcoming. The hotel’s quiet and cozy atmosphere was perfect for getting plenty of rest the night before the race, allowing me to compete in great condition. The breakfast was especially impressive — with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that were also well-balanced nutritionally. Thanks to that, I felt my body recover quickly even after completing the full marathon. All these factors combined made Sofitel much more than just a place to stay; it’s a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone participating in the Gold Coast Marathon!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hotel. The rooms are dated but the staff are all wonderful and room attendants were very good. Welcome plate and bottle of wine left in room which was nice and a lovely late check out on our final day. All of the staff - especially the bellman gents were just wonderful. Thomas as the restaurant and all bellman were wonderful - 10/10!

We had an amazing vacation at this hotel! The location is perfect — just steps away from the sea with stunning ocean views. Our room was bright, clean, and very comfortable.
