Reviews for Oxford 152

Went to trivia fist time since the revamp, we have been regulars at trivia for over a year.my summary so far 152 got our booking wrong and put it under someone else's name. the bowls of chips when it arrived are slim on chips and no sauce, the food was cold by the time the tom sauce arrived. One of our party sent her meal back the food was undercooked and cold. the music is loud, the trivia presenter has no mic. My feed back to 152 I thought the aim of a pub was to provide great service, good food at reasonable prices and an inviting atmosphere tonight you failed on all 3.

The refurb is tacky and far too bright for a pub. Youβve taken what was already low in atmosphere and reduced it even further. The sound is harsh and echoing. The lights are so bright we may as well have been in the supermarket. The night we went, the staff on were sullen and unhelpful. Four people walked past me waiting to order food without so much as a glance in my direction. Straws, after having to ask for them, plonked into glasses which splashed. Young female walked out behind bar with can of V in her teeth. Disappointing for a local, hope you take customer feedback seriously. Add: always pleasant to see the chefs butt on the food prep bench π€¦ββοΈ

Very loud, lighting extremely bright in the restaurant. Our dishes were underwhelming. Three rocket leaves constitute a salad. Service at the bar was unorganised and left waiting. Not even a polite glance and a mention of ......just one moment. Disappointing..

Loving the new fit out, airy and bright. A big improvement. Disappointed that there are no stools at the opening windows looking onto Oxford Street anymore. This was a great people watching spot! Tried the new food menu recently, βpie and Pinotβ was good and decent value. Enjoyed the chicken parmi spring rolls and polenta chips too. βββββββββββββββββββββββββ Previous Review. Good pub grub, friendly staff. (Dog friendly)

Hand battered baby snapper was double battered and a small fish piece in centre. Salad included with fish was a few rocket leaves. Wine was $17 for large glass rose.
