Great location and views looking out onto the river, Rooms are very clean the hotel is presented very clean and tidy,Unfortunately the 4 star ship has sailed when it comes the quality of the rooms. Our room on the 4th floor, looked very aged if you put anything on the bedside cabinet it stuck to it ,instead of replacing the tank on the toilet it was just painted (although the seat and lid was replaced)so 3 star, This hotel is a solid 3 star with a few splashes of a 4 star but charging 4 star prices.Maybe next time reception should be advising that they will take $150 security deposit when doing a phone booking spoke to them 2 times (wasn't a issue to pay just not at all impressed with dropping it on guest's at check-in) it only needed a card imprint again so 3 star, Burnett riverside hotel time to lift your game and refurbished the rooms to be in line with your pricing.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the river. Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely noisy, so even conversations or the TV can be heard as if you were in the same room.

Welcoming staff and helpful service. Apartment was spacious and comfortable but lacked sufficient crockery. Food and service in the restaurant was first class with friendly staff and excellent meals. Incredibly good value. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

I’ve stayed at Burnett on average 6 times a year for the past 4 years. I’ve stayed in rooms from least to most expensive. I was here before the revamp and I’m here post vamp. My fav rooms are the lofts and the executive apartment, though these days they are a little outside my budget. If you are considering a loft, worth every penny. Down side - not all rooms have a full fridge and some of the more inexpensive rooms don’t even have a microwave. I find it really hard to tell before arrival though, so if a microwave matters to you, call up and book - don’t rely on the website.

On a road trip and chose this because it had a restaurant on-site in case we arrived late!!! Well!! The accommodation is great but the restaurant is Michelin Star!!! I'm a foodie...don't eat ANYWHERE else if your staying 1 or 6 nights! Chef Martie is wasted in my opinion..or Bundaberg is very lucky! The Eye Fillet Steak cooked to perfection...the root veges beautifully cooked and charred.OMG the Small Plate prawn and mussels in the most subtle cream sauce was sensational. Tonight I chose Pork Belly ..and was not disappointed..the pork was twice cooked and the crackling perfect...had to squeeze in a Sticky Date ...superb. The very lovely Kathy was also a breath of fresh Customer Service air not seen frequently these days. The room is quite adequate and pay a little extra for the water view..it's worth it for the sunsets.. definitely will return! 🙋♀️🙏
