The venue had a nice ambience and the staff were lovely. Several comments at our table mentioned that the food had a lack of seasoning. The southern fried chicken was a bit bland. The Pad Thai, in my opinion, was very bland. This would be suitable for less adventurous eaters, but my personal preference is plenty of flavour. There was no hint of Asian flavours in this dish. However, the chips were top-notch, and the steak sandwich was very nice. The steak was tender, and fillings were fresh.

Absolute 10/10 experience! We used the function room very last minute for an event and it turned out perfect! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, they all went out of their way to make our afternoon perfect! We ordered a variety of platters and the value for money was absolutely worth it, much more delish food than I expected! Will 100% recommend and use again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Melbourne Hotel in Bundaberg, and I have to say, the Rump Steak with Bug Topper was an absolute standout. Without exaggeration, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The addition of the bug topper elevated the dish even further, adding a touch of richness and decadence that complemented the meat beautifully. The sides were just as impressive—well-prepared and thoughtfully chosen to round out the meal. Everything on the plate was cooked with care and presented with finesse. From the first bite to the last, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be returning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier steak in Bundaberg!

Chloe would have to be the best barmaid I have come across in a long time. Makes the best shots too. Food was delicious. Atmosphere super friendly. Definitely will come again when in Bundaberg. ( from Monto. ) lots of pool played too.

Chips were bland, steak was still bleeding but chewy. Garlic sauce didn’t taste like garlic.
