I've dined there many times as my mother lives opposite the Tavern. We used to gather for family gatherings for musical Bingo but sadly that's ceased since the new Reno's. The venue is updated but menu much the same and prices have escalated. It's very basic pub food, not much choice and and Seniors is not cheap. I think it's ok for a Sunday afternoon family get together but there's alot nicer pubs close by. They really need to review their menu with the price increase. A big PLUS.. the staff are ALWAYS lovely and helpful. Well done to the staff!

Great modern place.First time here. Loved the atmosphere. Only had went into the beer garden.They had great selection of beers on tap with price at standard cost. Kid friendly with lots of food specials and the food looked delicious. Modern and clean. The staff friendly and helpful.

So wish there was a minus star or a sad/angry emoji. So was supposed to go to a function at the tavern tonight - went there in the afternoon to drop a wishing well in, advised yeah you’ve got that whole area over there. The tables were all set up with the hostess’s name and 6pm. Hostess gets there early to set up decorations etc and it appears they had ‘overbooked’. Don’t understand how you can go from you have this big space and now there is not enough room for all the guests invited. It was very lucky that the hostess’s daughter lived not far so we could change the venue. And if it was a one off maybe but this is the second time this has happened in 6 months!!!. Will not being going back or organising any functions there again

Went on Sunday great time food was lovely price was reasonable. Music was good kids had a good time . Would recommend for family gathering.
