My husband and I went on Friday night and ordered two Bug and Steak specials, but, it arrived without the Bugs....Franco and Dara were quick to resolve the issue and shouted us desserts for the staff's mistake. We ordered the Cheesecake and Apple Rubbarb Crumble and we both thoroughly enjoyed these delicious desserts. The next day ( Saturday) we took eight family members, including grandchildren, for lunch. We were given a great table area to ourselves, all the orders came out swiftly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every delicious meal...thank you to the staff at Coolum Beach Hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable afternoon.

We recently held a celebration of life at the Coolum Beach Hotel and we couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and welcoming venue. From the very beginning, venue Manager Shayne and Bistro Manager Vicki went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference on such an important day. The staff were absolutely incredible - warm, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for bringing family and friends together to honour our loved one. A huge thank you to the entire team at Coolum Beach Hotel. Your care and hospitality made a difficult day so much easier, and we are truly grateful. Highly recommend this venue for any special gathering.

We had dinner and the lady who showed us to the table was lovely and very welcoming. My salad was nice but my husbands steak was not cooked as he ordered and ordinary for the price. The kids meals were ok but overall it was overpriced and not value for money. The fact I have to order on an app or stand in line to order is not great when I’m paying those prices in my opinion.

Awesome all round , seen ACDC TRIBUTE BAND was absolutely 💯 amazing 👏 Coolum Beach hotel Rocked with huge crowd, every one was having the best time eva!!! I give a 10 star for this hotel, amazing service , from all the staff, and especially lady who served us for our late lunch and shout out to SHELLE, She was so lovely in every way, thank you SHELL, you are such an asset to the hotel!!! Food was absolutely lovely huge servings, thank you to kitchen staff wait staff , chef and cooks, the price of meals was great, fantastic!! We will be back to enjoy everything about this great hotel, and the awesome service of all staff..Bring on ACDC again they ROCKED the hotel down the HIGH WAY TO HELL , thank you ACDC THE EXPERIENCE, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, SO PROUD OF YOU ALL, CONGRATS FOR YOUR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, YOU GUYS ARE LEGENDARY, CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN AT HOTEL!!!!

What a disappointment. We had sirloin steak for lunch, it was so tough we both struggled to cut it with the steak knives they supplied. My partner had hers med rare, I had mine blue. My partners looked ok but was med, mine looked like it was cooked in the microwave, and was nearly well done. This would be the worse pub lunch we have had on the sunny coast for ages. We waited to see if the staff came to get our plates, and let them know how poor the food was, but then looked around, and most tables still had dirty plates on them. Some had been like that when we sat down. Such a shame, as we could smell the steaks cooking from the street, so we were really looking forward to a nice meal.
