Yesterday we did a brewery tour at Balter, and honestly – it was one of the best experiences we’ve had on the Gold Coast. The tour was super affordable, great value for money, and it definitely made our day. Our tour was guided by James, and he did an outstanding job. Amazing knowledge, great storytelling about the history of Balter, and he was open to every single question. You can really feel his passion. First-class work – thank you, James! The whole team – James, Reed (the American), and Ryan from South Australia (4WD legend) – were constantly joking with each other, bouncing comments back and forth and creating an easygoing, fun atmosphere. It felt natural, relaxed, and made the tour even more entertaining. Lots of laughs and great vibes all around. I’ve been working in hospitality for over 10 years, and I can honestly say: the atmosphere at Balter is something special. The staff are genuinely happy, relaxed, and proud of what they do – and that’s rare. Balter doesn’t just make fantastic beers, they also give you a big smile. Fantastic people all around. After the tour, we enjoyed a few more beers and visited the shop, where we met Glen – an absolute legend. Such a friendly guy, great chats, and on top of that he’s a chef as well. Mother fantastic person! 😄 We even got free beers after buying something in the shop – how good is that? Fantastic job to the whole Balter team. Love this place! The crew are all super nice and make you feel welcome every time I’m there. Even the security guard is great! He always makes sure what sport we wanna watch on the weekend is on the big screens!

Big shout out to Jake for our very informative and fun tour of the Balter brewery today. We learnt a lot about this Queensland icon and were kept from building up a thirst while taking in the information. Other staff including Dee must get a mention for her assistance in the merchandise department. Thanks everyone had a great afternoon and hope to visit again soon.

Went to Balter for my sister's engagement party a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. The beers, the food and the live music were awesome and the upstairs space was perfect for our friends and family. Shout out to James and Stewie (I hope I remembered right) for putting up with a whole bunch of drunks (mostly, me) and being legends in general. All the staff there brought the vibes and I appreciated how special you made the day for my sister. Can't wait to come back.

We stopped by for an afternoon drink on a Wednesday and had a lovely experience. The space was so clean and welcoming, our toddler enjoyed watching the fork lifts driving around beyond the wall and they even beeped their horns and turned on their lights for him. I especially enjoyed the 'Largarita' as a non-beer drinker (pictured).
