Good clean rooms but the air con needs looking at as it didn't keep the room cool. Nice meals at the pub right next door. The location is quiet and out of the way. Ideal for a weekend to relax. We were able to book in early which we were very grateful for. The staff were friendly. It was nice to come back to our room after a day out to find it cleaned and the bed made. I would recommend staying here for an overnighter or weekend away.

Well where to start. Firstly and I know this is a 1 star review but I have to give 5 stars to the sports bar and sports bar staff. The Waterfront hotel is very much 2 pubs. The Sports bar is fine, good friendly staff, nice seating area overlooking the water. BUT... The Bistro/Restaurant is an absolute disgrace, and 1 star is too much it really should be zero. I have been staying at the resort next door for 2 years for work, and previously (say 12 months ago) the food in the Bistro/Restaurant was good pub grub. Now I wouldn't feed it to my dog, and the service is non-existent. Last night I returned a medium/rare steak that was like cutting into a thong, served with Luke warm slightly raw vegetables and a mash that resembles glue. Tonight I thought I'd try again, and after waiting over 40mins for a Thai chicken curry, was served a Thai tofu curry with zero chicken. Whilst awaiting my incorrect meal I observed at least 8 plates returned by staff and customers to the pass. The manger on duty could not have cared less. Sorry to say but the food is atrocious at present as well as the non-existent service in the Bistro/restaurant. However if you want to relax with a drink in the sports bar then that's the go.

Christmas gathering for staff. We had booked in prior to the date with numbers of who was attending and also a couple of days before lunch to give the chef and kitchen staff the courtesy of dietary requirements. Unfortunately we all waited an hour and a half for any meals to come out. As for those with dietary requirements, well what can we say.... absolutely disappointed. Someone who specified days prior that they had a plant based diet was told on the day " we ran out of rice, and would you like a curry with hot chips" SERIOUSLY!!! No one just turned up and put the chef and kitchen staff on the spot to cater for dietary requirements. Ample notice was provided out of respect so the chef could plan ahead. Beyond disappointed with waiting an hour and a half for any meal to arrive. Feedback from group was the food was greasy, tasteless, over prepared, over priced and those with dietary requirements didn't even get catered for. "We ran out of rice". Won't be back and definitely don't recommend.

Had the rib on the bone. Was cooked perfectly Just what I needed. A great juicy steak They seemed a little short staffed, which like most places is standard at the moment due to staff shortage. But the staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. We were happy to just relax on the deck and have a few drinks while we waited, our daughter chilled and played in kids room Thanks team, we will be back. Keep up the good work

Went for lunch with mum Wednesday last week, my snitzel was overcooked, salad dressing and tartare sauce was too sweet. Had 1 young girl on for bar, gaming and delivering meals and cleaning tables, was too busy for one, chef stood yawning in public, then young bloke came to give a hand later and stood in gaming bar also yawning, sorry guys for disturbing your nap time! Young girl was amazing, thank you sweetheart for your service under duress of being on your own! Won't go again!!
