The chef should be ashamed of the food served to us today. We were looking forward to a nice lunch beside the water. We were served one of the worst meals ever at a pub. Ordered off the specials menu $26.00 each for supposedly beer battered snapper with chips and salad. The meal arrived after we waited 50 minutes, and the restaurant was not even half full. That should have given us the heads up. Fish was like rubber. Inside the gluggy batter was a dried up thin piece of fish that was yellowish in colour, served with a rotten piece of lemon with black and brown rot on it. Non-existent salad was drowned in dressing and consisted of a whisper of wilted and browning leaves, smidge of tomato, and 3 slithers carrot. Chips were cold, as was the fish. The table next to us also returned 3 out of 4 meals. We left with a refund in hand. Bar staff apologised. However, it's the kitchen staff that should be held accountable. Hotel Management and the Head Office should do something about this promptly. The hotel is very run down. Staff look overworked and sad. The place has a beautiful water view and breezes, such a shame that the food quality is below poor. We will never return.

This place has potential to make a killing but no we know why the car park was empty. The food quality was poor my meal had frozen vegetables on the plate and the steak wasn’t the way I ordered it. My wife’s meal her steak was ment to be well done and it come out with a heart beat. The staff were rude and didn’t look like they wanted to be there. You stand at the bar to order drinks and people behind you get served first (can’t work that out but it’s ok). Will not be back and will not recommend this place to anybody.

Great location and view. We really wanted a pub meal, and we were blown away by the delicious barramundi fish and chips & rib fillet flame grilled steak! Would reccomend to others. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the chips. The oil in the deep fryer definitely needs a change. Would of rated 5 stars otherwise.

Went last night for a work christmas party. The service was okay - minus one waitress that would not say excuse me when walking through our group to delivery food and appeared very unhappy to be there. Hot food platters were served cold and when raised met unfriendly response. Food was clearly reheated but not heated to an appropriate temperature for serving. Was told by staff that it was hot enough despite being shown it was not. Final platter served was fish platter (with the only hot food on it) but served cooked cold prawns on the same platter touching the hot food. Very disappointed

Unfortunately, a long hair in my Caesar Salad turned what could have been a pleasant experience into the absolute opposite. I was offered the option of coffee or dessert however that damage had been done. There was no way I could eat anything else.
