Went for lunch, presentation of the place is kinda bad. Looked like the carpets haven't been washed in years. The kids play room has nothing for kids to do and smelt moldy and wet. The playground was filthy. Food was mediocre, expensive steak that was tough and over cooked. The plates were also tiny and we kept knocking our food off the plates. Staff were pleasant, only positive thing about the place.

Review of Waterfront Hotel Bistro - 1 Star I recently dined at the Waterfront Hotel Bistro and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which was dry and overcooked. It was not enjoyable at all. I also tried the fish and chips, but the first serving was burnt and dry, so I sent it back. The second attempt was just bearable, but still not up to standard. The side salad that accompanied the dishes was wilted, which added to the overall lack of care in the presentation and quality of the food. To top it off, the calamari was overcooked as well. It felt like there was no attention to detail in the kitchen, and the dishes that made it to the pass should have never left. I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

We arrived on Thursday afternoon and we had an amazing bartender called Zae. He gave awesome customer service and even helped me become a member of Pub+ by assisting with entering all the details into my phone, which I couldn't have done without him. He was friendly, polite, happy to help, yet professional as well. When Zae's shift ended, we were again assisted by yet another young, friendly staff member called Brodie. She was awesome as well. Good to see young and happy staff who love what they do and are polite to their customers. Management should be very proud.

Always a good atmosphere at the Waterfront! We had the baked Brie, tacos and burger. Excellent! Extraordinary service by Charley, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

One of those "hidden gems"! Old school and looking just a little tired, but a great place to spend an afternoon. Sunset is great, looking out across the lagoon. Drinks reasonably priced, food good value.
