Last night 8 Nov 2024, my friend and I thought we would give this Bistro a try as it is relatively close by. Not a single bar staff member smiled the entire time we were there (2 hours) my meal was fine, but my friend had a steak that was chewy and the plate was practically filled with a pile of really chunky sour tasting coleslaw. We had to ask wait staff to clear out table after one mbr had walked past us 4 times. There will be no repeat visit, nor would I ever recommend this venue!

Great location, but unfortunately let down by poor management and service. During our family anniversary party, the manager acted aggressively, pushing over a family member onto the tile floor (as noted in another review) before storming off. Later that evening, around 10 or 11 pm, we were in the front car park talking with other family members after leaving the function. The same manager approached us, demanding we leave because of supposed noise complaints from guests(we were talking at a a very normal volume)—apparently unaware that our entire group had booked out the accommodation. Room service was also disappointing. Our order arrived incorrect and missing several items. I had to go to the restaurant to sort it out, and when they did return, one of the items was still wrong(which I had lost the patience to correct) and they had forgotten a few more items. Which were then brought, for a third trip. This place has so much potential but desperately needs new management. It’s a shame to see a great spot ruined.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable behaviour from management. We had a family anniversary function on the evening of the 19th of October. Everyone was well behaved being lovely family occasion. At approx 2230 there were a number of our family and friends sitting out side in the smoking area (not smoking) lightly playing some instruments. The venue manager who I believe goes by the name Charlie marched outside and yelled at our group telling them that he can get a fine for what they were doing. My husband went up and approached him asking what they were doing wrong? As his attitude seemed a bit over the top considering it was a very tame atmosphere. The venue manager forcefully pushed my husband over onto the ground where he hit his head on the tiled floor. The security guards witnessed the encounter and came to our aid along with our family and friends. The venue manager stormed off and was nowhere to be found. We asked to speak to management but apparently he's the guy. We've since taken the matter to the police.

Had a delicious meal - steak was so tender and tasty!! Perfectly cooked. The lemon lime and bitters was one of the best I have ever had - Thank yo for a lovely dinner

Great service! Came with a pretty large group, and all went seamlessly. The food was very good and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. Seniors meals are really great value for money. Thank you.
