My partner and I came for dinner and it was amazing. My partner ordered the 400g rump steak and it was beautifully cooked and I ordered the lamb shank and that was the BEST lamb shank I’ve ever had. It was cooked beautifully and so juicy. Thank you to the chef and staff was an amazing experience

Friendly helpful staff five stars but I was disappointed with my Chicken Snitzel served with only gravy unless you pay $3 extra. I was not going to pay $3 for some tomato sauce on my chips when I could buy a whole bottle for that much. In comparison to what you get at the Cock n Bull where the same meal is cheaper, bigger and tastier. They also have an amazing mushroom sauce available for no extra cost instead of gravy and a range of sauces like tomato, chilli and BBQ available as well. I will not be back as the quality and value are elsewhere.

I was recommended this place for food by my hotel reception, they stated they do a “Great Steak” I went in and it was a really friendly place, this seems common in Cairns, I took the menu and decided to have the Rib eye 400 gram steak with chips (fries) salad and peppercorn sauce. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium as there seems to be many different ideas of what medium means here! But it came out really rare? The meal was great other than the steak, it truly was not 400 grams, more like 300 and there was probably 120 grams of gristle? This was the most expensive meal on the menu at $48 and to be honest, at the end of it, I wish I had just gone to Hungry Jacks. I will not be returning to this place during my time in Cairns. My recommendation, go for something cheaper, looking around, it all looked far better than mine.

Good, honest, well done pub food. The steaks are some of the best we've had in Cairns and consistently good. The service is also very good.
