We had the Chicken Parma, chips and salad. The chicken was a little dry and the salad wasn't great. The chips we really nice tho. On our 2nd night we had steak, chips and salad. That was really good. The cheese, garlic and bacon bread also really good. Sticky date for dessert was really awesome too, definitely recommend.

LOVED IT!!! Fantastic classic Aussie pub atmosphere! So friendly - the barman especially was fantastic (Saturday 29th March 2025 lunch time)! Will definitely return when Iām back in Brisbane again.

Well done on your Melbourne cup. Food was fantastic with the lamb ribs and the prawns being the stand out dishes. Staff were amazing and Fiona and Dari were on point and fabulous. š

When you spend $30 on a chicken and wild mushroom risotto, you expect it to taste good, if not great, but todays risotto was bland, grainy, needed more flavour and was only slightly better than microwave risottos that I've had in the past. The portion sizes were also wild. My friends had parmis and steaks which came out and were huge and they had no complaints with the quality of those, but when the risottos came out they were significantly smaller. If I had enjoyed the taste, I would have been disappointed by how much was on my plate. Ive had some great risottos and this wasnt it. I've harped on long enough so ill move on. The starter calamari/squid on the other hand was rather nice, properly spiced and had beautiful mouth texture. Sauce also complimented it well. Had an additional 2 lemon lime and bitters which were good, no complaints there. Staff were wonderful and the place itself feels like a great spot to relax with friends at a lunch or dinner, especially on a rainy day like today. Shame about the risotto.
