My family and some other people got stuck in swim floor (door broken) locked us outside. My 3 yrs old was shivering and we couldn’t get in. Someone called emwrgency phone they said they’re coming … I called hotel reception Sarah said she will come— guess what they don’t consider this situation as urgent or emergency and no one came. We had to find our own way out luckily found a door that leads to staircase. — fixing door may take time but at least some staff would have rushed to us which would console us and they could show us another way… but no one came. Usually any company’s staff would apologise personally for this situation or even offer some refund or anything but we didn’t get any of it. Other than that location of hotel is good. I found reception staff very friendly but it seems old hotel so bathrooms were disappointing. Commode seat was terrible, sink v small too. I was so impressed when I arrived with the way reception talked to us so welcoming with smile but it turned not so good in the end for us.

I had an amazing experience at Voco Gold Coast for my birthday! The rooms and the hotel are incredibly spacious and clean, with stunning views. When the staff found out it was my birthday, they surprised me with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a lovely birthday card in my room—such a special touch! I also had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. The entire stay exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

We drove to the Gold Coast overnight with our two young kids we arrived at 5am I called the hotel to see what time we would be able to check in as we were exhausted, Chris from reception went above and beyond he told me he would call me back and 5 minutes later he calls me says we can come and check in now and we had been upgraded to an ocean view room, his service was outstanding, when we arrived he also gave our kids colouring in books and pencils he was so kind and accommodating in making sure we weren’t waiting around for hours after traveling 14 hours in one trip! On top of that the room was extremely clean.

Beautiful hotel. Perfect if you want to go anywhere as the tram stops right outside it's door. Waves is a yummy restaurant however like the check in staff some are really rude. The cleaners and barstaff are lovely and helpful

Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and one 13 years old kid, upon asking bed for a kid they want to charge extra and manager Sarah has been very rude and arrogant. (Made me upset from the start) Initially they’d didn’t ask for anything but once I checked in they called me and gave me extra quote and their approach was take it or leave it. (Misleaded and not even say sorry for inconvenience) Have stayed 3 times in last 6 months with you guys but this will be the last visit. Is this how you treat a loyal customer??
