Reviews for Vibe Hotel Gold Coast

I travel often for work and have stayed in many hotels, but my recent three-night stay at the Vibe Hotel Surfers Paradise really stood out. From the moment I arrived, Miranda at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure my stay was a lovely one. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with an amazing view. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel well looked after. The share plates were delicious, and I really enjoyed a refreshing Aperol Spritz while relaxing at the bar. Breakfast was also great value for money and absolutely worth adding to your stay, fresh, tasty, and plenty of variety. I also loved that the TV had streaming functionality so I could easily watch my favourite shows from my phone. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The Vibe will definitely be my go-to hotel!

We recently stayed at Vibe Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few disappointments worth mentioning. While the hotel *technically* offers ocean views, it’s not a full, uninterrupted view. You can see the ocean, but only between buildings across the road, which was a bit underwhelming. The room we stayed in didn’t quite match the sleek, modern look shown in the promotional images. While the hotel has clearly undergone some refurbishment, the building itself is older and you can still see signs of wear and tear. On the plus side, the breakfast was a highlight. They offered a good variety, including gluten-free cereals and alternative milk options, which was a thoughtful touch for guests with dietary needs. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming vibe throughout the stay. That said, we did have a hiccup with one staff member who promised to bring pool towels and never returned. We ended up walking back to our room soaking wet — not ideal. There’s a nice bar next to the pool area, which was a great spot to relax in the evenings. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you manage your expectations — just be aware that the “ocean view” is more partial than panoramic, and the hotel has a bit more character (and age) than the photos suggest.

A very dated and average hotel room in a very average hotel in a great location! Though when you are charged $400 for one night, extremely disappointing! To have to step up and into a small bath to have a shower, great if you want a bath, but having to fiddle with taps and levers to just have a shower on a one night stay was a bit silly! A very limited breakfast buffet and neither the coffee machine nor the pancake machine were working! Though we were offered the option of buying coffee at breakfast! Further information booked the stay in my name and afterwards contacted the hotel and told them my partner would be arriving before me! They sent me an email confirming that I had done this, though when she arrived there was no record of this and they had to contact me to make sure it was OK for her to check in! Overall, extremely disappointing!

Fabulous location however hotel is dated and needs to be renovated. Fantastic view of river. Room was relatively clean and tidy however noted spiderwebs behind the curtains. Curtain sits quite far out from the window so lots of light gets in for an early morning wake up. Arranged 2 single beds which was confirmed but arrived to a king. To correct this, they set up a trundler bed which was not ideally so we had to asked a third time for correct bed setup. We asked for a full room service twice and all they did was provide new towels and make the beds. Hotel gym is minimal and old equipment, some of it rusted. Very noisy guests on our floor woke us up every night at all hours partying

Perfect location, excellent service, comfy bed. The spa and the pool are great. I would definitely recommend a river view room with a balcony. The views are amazing. So close to many great restaurants. Thank you Vibe Hotel for making our holiday so memorable and relaxing!
