Just spent a night here to go see a show in the casino and it was perfect. Great location with the tram right on the doorstep. Minutes from the beach, delicious coffee in the cafe downstairs. We skipped the buffet breakfast as it was $40 a head, a little steep… but everything else was well priced. Beds are super comfy, shower was nice and views from the room were great. Perfect for a stay on the Gold Coast! 🌟

Great location with a tram stop outside. Comfy beds although not much space for your luggage in a room for 3 or 4 people. Bathroom small & not much space for toiletries for multiple people. Lovely canal view and room was spotless. There are 2 pools although we didn't use them.

Staff were friendly and the room was great. The bed was super soft and comfy which made our extended stay refreshing. Standard room did not have a microwave so just double check what's included in your room before you book. Would patronise again

Currently staying at voco with my husband for what we hoped would be a nice weekend escape. So far, we've had consistent issues being able to get onto any staff members via the in room phone (in multiple rooms), and have had to resort to ringing the main hotel number using our mobile phones (& even then, waiting while the phone number kept ringing for over 5 minutes prior to a staff member in a department answering our call and being unable to assist with our query). Our original allocated room, we were told likely required maintenance to look at the phone the following day, and we were thankfully upgraded to another room due to the issue with the phone and unpleasant noise coming from one of the rooms next door. This was a lovely and appreciated gesture. The room service food was really good. No complaints there. Our frustration is that we wanted 2 additional pillows so we could crash out for an early night, and ended up having to make multiple calls (never reaching anyone), visit reception multiple times, and then finally have someone from reception get the pillows themselves while my husband was at the reception desk so he could bring them up to the room himself. We've never had an issue like this before in a hotel, and ended up missing being able to order dessert too due to it taking over 3 hours to sort out the pillow situation! We're hoping that maybe we might be able to get the phone to work sometime during our stay since it seems ridiculous for it not to work, not to mention the main hotel number ringing out for 5 minutes seeming unreasonable also. So far though, a lot to be improved upon compared to many other hotels we've stayed at on the Gold Coast, and we're definitely considering taking to someone about relocating to another hotel where service is a priority as we don't mind paying a little more for a smooth stay.

I recently stayed at voco Hotel Gold Coast for 4 days during my holiday, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by George, the front desk manager, whose warm hospitality and attention to detail truly set the tone for my stay. He made sure everything was seamless, offering great recommendations and ensuring I felt at home throughout my visit. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful rooms, fantastic amenities, and a perfect location. The entire staff, including George, made my experience feel personalized and special. A huge thank you to George for going above and beyond to make my stay awesome. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Gold Coast and highly recommend voco Hotel to anyone visiting the area!
