Great location, easy to get to City by bus (bus stop across the street) or City Cat (easy and lovely 15 minute walk along the promenade). Nice room overlooking the river and surprisingly very little noise on level 5 despite being on a busy highway. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely staff. We enjoyed our 5 night stay on a Luxury Escapes deal.

Stayed recently for a night, and loved it. Room had a beautiful view and was clean and amazing. Buffet breakfast was so worth it with the variety and Choices and taste. Had a good pub nearby and servo. Would stay again definitely

A well-run property with a good balance of comfort and efficiency. I arrived just before 3pm and, although the booking clearly noted a 3pm check-in, I did need to wait a little longer than expected. The team handled it professionally — not overly engaging, but courteous — and I was offered an excellent coffee made by a senior staff member whose warmth stood out. The foyer was tidy, with Christmas decorations being set up, and my room was a generous size with a pleasant outlook over Albion Park Raceway. The stretch of green and the view toward the Hamilton ridge made for a calm scene, especially given the hotel’s busy location. The grounds are well maintained, and the bed and pillows are consistently comfortable, which always makes for a dependable night’s sleep here. Check-out was smooth, though the $200 bond was a slight surprise. I understand the broader issues around debit cards in Australia, and staff were clear that the amount would be returned, but it does shift the tone of check in a little. Service overall was efficient and unforced. A special mention to the barman, who made an outstanding dry martini — the sort that shows the difference between simply mixing a drink and knowing your bar. That small touch added a nice finish to the stay. My observations may be more detailed than most purely because of my hotel background, but the experience remains comfortable, reliable, and well managed. Others will notice different things, but there is much to appreciate at View Brisbane.

Lovely stay here - close to the racecourse if you are going to an event. We did have to catch an uber into the city and/or Southbank, for more things to do and places to eat, that wasn’t an issue. The Ubers were only 5 minutes and reasonably priced. The hotel was very clean and staff were lovely. The towels were especially large and soft and the beds and pillows were super comfy. While the place did look a little old and dated from the front, it had a lovely old money/ vintage feel indoors and we felt welcomed from the beginning.

The hotel was great, all except for the beds. The springs had collapsed in the first room I was given (Room 405) and it was like sleeping in a hammock. After 3 hrs of not being able to sleep I requested a new room. The helpful staff member quickly transferred us to Room 305. The bed was super plush but at least had some support from the springs unlike the first room. Most hotels have a medium to medium-firm mattress, this suits me and my partner far better than super plush. Everything else about this hotel was great, but since I hardly got any sleep I wouldn't go back unless they got more supportive beds.
