I rarely give 5 stars but Hamilton Hotel events team really came through with the goods on the weekend. I planned a last minute surprise 21st birthday for my brother and it couldn’t have turned out any better. The customer service was 5 star. The food was amazing. The staff were very helpful and myself, my family and my brother were very satisfied with everything. It was simple but very nice. Just the way we wanted it. We’ve received some great feedback from some of the guests but I’m sure everyone had a great time. I want to make a special shout out to Kylie (Events Manager) for being patient with me and making it such a smoothe process considering the last minute notice. Thank you Kylie, to you, your team and the lovely staff who worked that night (Saturday 16/03/24 - Cherrys 21st) We are very grateful for the service, the hospitality and everything you all did. I will definitely be booking again in the near future. 5 stars from me :)

I attended the Hamilton Hotel’s Christmas lunch service, and what an amazing experience it was. The food, the service, the setting were all absolutely top notch, I could not fault a single thing the entire day. The food was all delicious and abundant, the staff, despite working on Christmas Day, were incredibly warm, welcoming and hospitable, especially one of the service team Grace who went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was flawless. She cheerfully greeted every table, offered to take group photos, and made sure that every little thing was just perfect. I was so impressed by the attitude of every member of the staff, and so happy that I skipped the cooking and dishes and chose to let the professionals take care of me and my family this year. The table setting was also gorgeous, there was a bouquet of roses on every table, a Christmas bonbon for each person and even a little name placard for that extra special touch. The staff were kind enough to come up and let us know exactly when each menu item would be available until, ensuring that everyone at the table was able to enjoy the food they wanted to, and no one felt like they had missed out on anything. Also, the buffet was very well set out. Having multiple identical buffet lines allowed for quick and efficient service, and meant that it was so quick and easy to get all that good food on my plate, a drink from the bar, and then back to the table to enjoy the company of my nearest and dearest. Thank you so much to the whole team at Hamilton hotel, not just for your incredible attention to detail and passion for great service, but also for giving up your own family Christmas lunch and choosing to not only work hard, but do it with a huge smile on every team member’s face. Five stars doesn’t do justice to the dining experience I had today, I can’t wait to return next Christmas for another exceptional time with family and friends.

We chose to dine at Winnie’s, Kitchen & Bar at the Hamilton Hotel for two reasons - it had vegan choices on the menu and its proximity to the airport where I was taking a late evening, international flight. We arrived shortly after 8pm and a nice corner table was cleaned and prepared for us. Drink orders placed at 8:17pm and promptly served while we contemplated the menu (see images). We placed our meal order via the “tap order and pay” app at 8:39pm which was confirmed with a debit of AU$74 to my credit card. All good to go. Or so we thought. 5 minutes later we were approached by a staff member saying they have closed the kitchen and can’t call Phil the order. There was no mention of the immanent kitchen closure at any time including when we sat down and when we our drinks were served. There is no mention of last orders on the menu. There is no mention of last orders on the website. There is no mention of last orders full stop. serve us. We were told there’s absolutely nothing I can do and they can’t service through. At this point it was too late to find another restaurant (the hotel had no recommendation or solution for us) and my farewell dinner occasion was relegated to a Hungry Jack’s 15 minutes away (thank you, Google Maps). 4 stars for atmosphere. 0 stars for food and service. Plenty of room for improvement and I hope to have an opportunity to update this review with a more positive experience sometime in the future.

We would like to thank Hamilton Hotel for our Wedding event held onsite. All our guests were treated with respect, kindness and the greatest customer service we could ever ask for. The bar staff were absolutely wonderful and provided friendly outstanding customer service. The food was super fantastic, please personally convey our thanks to your chefs for the amazing buffet and also decorating our wedding cake. Molly was brilliant and extra perfect, she went above and beyond her call of duties to make our wedding day extra special. Kylie, we want to thank you so much for your help in coordinating the wedding. Everything went amazingly well that day and we cannot express how appreciative we are for everything that all you guys did for us! You have a hard job and you do it well! This place provides excellent service and delivers a good quality pub meal. The steak was cooked perfectly the way i requested. The place was really busy around the Christmas period but the meals still came out in a reasonable amount of time. And the quality of the meal was great. Nice atmosphere.
