I have eaten many steaks in my time, and very few come close to the tenderness and perfection that my eye-fillet steak arrived with at the Hamilton Hotel. I wish I had asked for his name but I could see from my seat that a fellow with a curly twisted moustache was preparing my meal in the kitchen. Props to you! And thank you for your amazing service :)

We stopped here yesterday and the staff are friendly but the service was terrible, waitress was so confused looking for tables with peoples food, then served our meals to the couple behind us, so we sat for ages after the kids had eaten there’s to find this out and then when we finally got our food it was barely warm. Our waitress was lovely though and gave the kids ice cream on the house but disappointed my meal was nearly cold after waiting so long with the mix up.

Had the wagyu rib fillet med to well. Cooked absolutely perfect. Tasted awesome and loved every bite. Thank to the chef for a great steak. The garlic bread with cheese and bacon was top shelf and thanks to Loren for the iced chocolate my little man loved it.

Good hotel with nice atmosphere, staff & service. Located opposite Brett’s Wharf so can travel to on City Cat. Had lunch in the main bar and had the $25 rump steak, chips, salad & a sauce deal. It was cooked perfectly medium/rare as requested & all very fresh. Everything was presented well, good portion size & tasty, both the béarnaise & Diane sauce were good !👍
