We’re currently staying at the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, and it truly feels like paradise. From the moment we arrived, everything has been exceptional - the breathtaking surroundings, the warm and attentive service, and the ease of it all, even with our 6-month-old baby. There’s so much to do and explore as a family. We loved the hike to Pearl Bay with its stunning views, and sailing was an unforgettable experience. The resort is immaculately clean and well cared for, which gave us great peace of mind travelling with a baby. While there wasn’t an option to upgrade our room this time, it hasn’t taken away from the experience. The room we have has stunning views and comfortable, and the overall quality of our stay has been outstanding. You honestly don’t need to go to Fiji or Bali - this is world-class resort right here in Australia. The service has been flawless, and the range of dining options is great. Our favourite has been Pacific - their grilled dishes are absolutely top-tier. We’re still here, soaking it all in, and already dreaming about our next visit. Hayman is the perfect mix of natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. And huge + for us from those who want to travel here with a baby

Stayed for a week with the wife and kids. They were very accommodating with any requests. The pool is huge so no matter how many people are in it you're not on top of each other. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Be sure to book all dinners and activities before you get there otherwise you're in trouble. The staff are exceptional. Great experience overall.

The resort is simply splendid. From the facilities to the rooms, we were extremely impressed. We also loved all the food and thought the quality was fantastic. Unfortunately, it's when service comes in that things start to decline significantly. Although every staff member was nice & friendly, we really struggled with skills levels & attention to details. In the restaurants (but especially Amici), none of them knew the ingredients on our plates, it can take a while to get attention for drinks, clearing plates etc. They forgot our orders or got the wrong table multiple times in just a few nights.. We also had some issues with our room and it took days to resolve small issues, we were told many times 'someone would come soon' but unfortunately we had to follow up multiple times. The Spa was outstanding, the quality of care there was above our expectations. We would like to sincerely thank: Rykyana from BamBam & Sam from breakfast for their excellent service!

Our honeymoon at the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly special and memorable. The level of service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality were unmatched. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of options that exceeded our expectations. The scenic views were breathtaking, with the crystal-clear waters and lush surroundings creating an idyllic backdrop to our experience. Every part of our stay felt luxurious and personalized. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this stunning resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable.

The rooms were great everything else is very poor. If you’re coming for good food and service this is not the place. Only backpackers work here and the service reflects their lack of care. No one greeted us on arrival, took our bags or ever informed us of where to go. We were given a room key and sent on a 15 min walk to try and locate our room. The pool is falling to bits and has a grease scum line around it that is totally gross. No pool service at all, you have to go into the restaurants to get drinks. No one came and took an order. I was given 9 dirty glasses in one day. All their services were not available as lack of staff. Only two places to have food were average and the wait times are crazy. The spa facilities where fully booked for the next 3 days as they only have two staff for the spa as the lady said they where short staffed so massage services where not available or fully booked. Non of the spas were working in the resort and looked like they just couldn’t be bothered to fix them. To top it all off our room was full of cockroaches, the receptionist didn’t seem fazed by this at all lol. Hope that helps if your looking for a quality time this wouldn’t be my top pic I’m sure the villas are a different story and this is where the positive reviews are coming from. However the normal intercontinental hotel is poor.
