The new renovations are a great improvement - much more family friendly! The meals are fabulous and always cooked to perfection. I was very disappointed that for almost $40 I got the smallest piece of fish. I will not order this again despite it being cooked perfectly as it's not value for money, not filling and is accompanied by a boring salad that simply fennel in a cabbage leaf. Thankful for a beautiful spicey margarita that was not on the menu but executed perfectly.

Unbelievable, the service, the food, the renovation. Management was so friendly and welcoming.Renee was wonderful to talk to. The food hit the spot. Free face painting for the kids. Playground was so clean and the adults kept cool with water mist blowing. Thanks guys will be back.

Stopped in here for lunch on Saturday as it kept popping up on my social media feed so we stopped in and ordered garlic bread and arancini balls, steak and pasta dish sat went outside to have a cigarette didn’t get to even have it then the waiter came out in five minutes later told the food was on the table so we assumed it was the garlic bread and the Arancini balls go back to the table all the food was all served together all of it so my steak was cold. I had to tell the manager because I’m not going to eat cold piece of steak he offered to refund the money for the steak dish as I didn’t wanna wait for it to be cooked again and eat on my own and he also offered me a glass of rosé which I declined it was considerate. I was there for the food not to drink. Overall the place has had a renovation so it looks good and for a pub the food looks nice but I didn’t get to eat my main meal so I did it get to enjoy, I will give it one more go next time. Good for families with small children as there is a play ground but not so good for couples this a family friendly pub

Thank you so much for your excellent service! I always love coming to the Hope Island Tavern, especially because of the amazing playground for the kids, which has been completely renovated. It’s a perfect spot for families. On our last visit, we had to change a dish because we ordered it incorrectly, and the manager was incredibly kind and helpful in resolving the issue without any hassle. I truly appreciate the outstanding attention to detail and customer service. That’s exactly what we look for when going out on weekends – a place where we feel well taken care of. Thank you so much again! We'll definitely keep coming back.
