Attended here for the first time today for a family lunch. Despite being seemingly short on staff today the meals came in pretty good time and were nothing to complain about for the most part. We booked the Kallangur tavern as it had a kids room and playground. The playground was ok, other than the gate being removed, but the kids room was nothing but a room with some arcade games you have to pay for. There is a cube unit in the room but nothing in the unit. It was a little bit random and did make the lunch hectic with the kids.

Over $100 for 4 people and went to Maccas afterwards. Value was really not good. Service was terrible. Pictured is my husband's lamb burger - around $23. (note that it came with a handful of chips and some very nice aioli) Update: after talks with a manager, we returned to give it another go and were pleasantly surprised. Much better.

Had the 200-gram rump cooked to perfection. Salt and pepper calamari was absolutely beautiful. It's such a great meal every time we go, and the staff are so friendly and helpful.
